“You will keep us in PERFECT PEACE, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You” – Isaiah 26:3

DIVINE PEACE is the supernatural effect of a fixed focus on God’s Character and Presence: “You will keep us in PERFECT PEACE, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You” (Isa.26:3). When God vows a year of Divine Performance, our human instinct is to brace for intense striving and hustle. However, God’s highest performances are birthed out of a position of divine rest. Amid a prophetic song celebrating Divine Victory and the restoration of His people, we discover the internal posture that commands the miraculous: Divine Peace.

Historically, Isaiah 26 is a song of praise written for the land of Judah, projecting a time when God would level lofty cities and establish a strong city for His people. The phrase "perfect peace" in the original Hebrew text is written as Shalom, Shalom. In Hebrew literature, repeating a word does not simply emphasize it – it denotes the absolute perfection, completeness, and ultimate reality of that state. In verse 1, God replaces physical fortifications with His Presence. Our security is not built on human effort, but on His performed salvation: "Salvation will God appoint for walls and bulwarks." The word “stayed” used in verse 3 means to be propped up, leaned upon, or fully rested.

God guarantees that if we anchor our mindset on Him, He takes responsibility for our emotional and mental stability. Finally, the prophet declared: "Lord, You will establish peace for us, for You have also done all our works in us" (v.12). This is the climax of Divine Performance. We do not work for God; He works in and through us. Our peace is established because He is the Author and Finisher of the performance!

From God’s perspective, Peace is not the absence of trouble; it is the presence of Focus. When storms rage, we only need to fix our gaze on the Performer rather than the problem. Peace is not found in a calmer circumstance; it is found in a deeper connection to the One who rules the storm. When mental exhaustion tries to set in, we are called to practice “staying” – intentionally lean our weight, worries, and future plans entirely on the integrity of God’s Word. When He performs His will in our lives, our rest is not a sign of laziness or passivity – it is the highest expression of our faith in Him and reliance on His Word.

In Jesus’ Name, I decree that:

My mind is eternally anchored on Christ. Mental distress and anxiety have no hold over me. My heart is established in Shalom, Shalom.

I dismantle every emotional stronghold and declare that the Peace of God rules my heart, home, workspace, and Kingdom service.

The Lord is my wall and bulwark; hence, I am completely safe from the arrows of panic and fear. Lofty mountains of opposition are levelled.

My strength is renewed daily because I choose to rest while God works. I step out of human striving into the peace of divine performance.

Every chaotic atmosphere surrounding my personal, family, professional, and ministry affairs are subdued right now by the voice of peace.

I break the cycle of overthinking; my thoughts are aligned with God's infallible promises. My year ends in praise and unbroken tranquillity.
