“…I WILL EVEN MAKE a ROAD in the WILDERNESS and rivers in the desert” – Isaiah 43:19b
Almighty God – the DIVINE WAY MAKER – specializes in making ways through seemingly impossible terrains: “Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert” (Isa.43: 18-19). When life presents us with what seems like a “dead end,” though we may feel stranded, God is not restricted by natural limitations. He does not just find a way; HE MAKES a WAY. No one is comparable to Him!
God asserts His Unrivalled Identity and Uniqueness. He wants us, His “witnesses” to know, believe, and understand that "...I am He, before Me there was no God formed, nor shall there be after Me” (v.10). He assures Believers that He alone is the Saviour and Redeemer, and when He acts, none can reverse it (vv.11-13). The Lord is He Who made a made a way through the mighty waters of the Red Sea and extinguished the chariots of the enemy (vv.16-17). To embrace Divine Possibilities, we must obey the command to let go of the past – release past failures, past successes, and past hurts (v.18). Focusing on the past hinders us from seeing and embracing the new thing that God is doing. It’s already springing up! It’s not merely a thought, but an active, supernatural display of His Power (v.19).
God transforms barren and desolate situations into places of abundance (v.20). He revealed that the miracle He was about to perform would be so different from the past (the Exodus). He was shifting from “delivering from the wilderness” to “making a way through the wilderness.” The past cannot be changed, but it can restrict our future; hence, we must stop dwelling on failures, but develop spiritual sensitivity to see how God is moving in our present, even if it looks small initially: “Shall you not know it” (v.19). Beloved, let’s expect and respect God’s Supernatural Ways and not limit Him by human logic. Facing a desert, let’s expect a river. If in a wilderness, let’s expect a highway. The ultimate purpose of the new thing is for us to proclaim God’s Praise and testify to His Glory (v.21).
In Jesus’ Name I decree that:
Because God is the Way Maker, I shall never be stranded in life. New things are springing forth in my life, career, family, and ministry.
God is working behind the scenes for me, even when I do not see it. Every “no way” situation is turned into a "new way" by His Power.
I receive grace to let go of the past and embrace my God-prepared future. Past failures are blotted out; I walk in the newness of His grace.
Rivers of abundance are flowing into the desert areas of my finances. A highway of breakthrough is made in my wilderness experience.
No obstacle is too great for my God to turn into a miracle. I shall sing a new song because my God is doing a new thing.

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
