Hebrews 11: 1-8

"But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder...” – Hebrews 11:6a

Walking by Faith is WALKING IN DIVINE POSSIBILITIES: But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him (Heb.11:6). Faith provides the context and climate for Divine Possibilities. Hebrews 11, often called the "Hall of Faith," is not a record of perfect people, but a record of people who trusted the Perfect God. Faith is the substance – Title Deed – of things hoped for and the evidence or conviction of things not seen (v.1). By faith: Abel offered a better sacrifice (v.4); Enoch walked with and pleased God (v.5); and Noah obeyed and built an ark based on a divine warning of future realities (v.7). Divine Possibilities are not activated by logic or sight, but by reliance on the Character and Word of God.

Here are Four Elements in the Anatomy of Faith:

Faith is Substance, not wishful thinking or mere mental assent. Faith treats God's Promises as already existing, even when invisible.

Faith is absolutely necessary for Divine Approval: It is impossible to please God without Faith, being the only currency Heaven recognizes.

Faith requires two Core Beliefs: (1) “that God is” – Acknowledge God’s Existence, Power, and Sovereignty; and (2) “that He is a Rewarder” – Believe that God is actively involved in blessing those who seek Him.

Faith must be Active and Faith enables Action: Those who “diligently seek Him,” speaks of a persistent, proactive pursuit of God. Also, Faith motivated Abel, Enoch, Noah, Abraham, and others to eternally-impactful actions (vv.4-8).

Verse 6, the hinge of the entire Faith chapter, sets a “line in the sand”: Without faith, all efforts are vain and cannot satisfy God. Faith responds to His Invite – “Come to God” – draw near in prayer and worship. To “diligently seek Him” means seeking God for Himself (His Presence) rather than just His hand (His gifts). This "Rewarder" does not ignore those who trust Him, though He determines the reward. However, our Faith defines the Possibilities we enjoy in Him! So, let’s saturate our spirit with the Word (Rom.10:17). Faith acts on God's Word, not blindly or taking foolish, “blind” risks. Let’s seek God in consistent prayer and Word-study to understand His Will and Purpose.

I declare in Jesus’ Exalted name, that:

As I walk by faith and not by sight; my future is dictated by God's Promise. Every “dry bone” situation receives Life by the Word of Faith.

The spirit of fear and limitation has no authority over my life. I receive a fresh baptism of the Spirit of Faith to fulfil God’s Will and Purpose.

As I diligently seek the God, my labour shall be rewarded openly. Every closed door is opening, and every delayed promise is manifesting.

My efforts are yielding mighty results. I move from strength to strength and Glory to Glory. I am blessed in all my ways!

Prayer:
Lord, as we diligently seek You, impart to us greater measures of the Spirit of Faith for WALKING in DIVINE POSSIBILITIES, in Jesus’ name.

Our Vision

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
