“The Lord will perfect that which concerns me; Your mercy, O Lord, endures forever; do not forsake the works of Your hands” – Psalm 138:8
It is comforting to know that we serve The GOD of FINISHED PROJECTS in a world filled with abandoned dreams: “The Lord will perfect that which concerns me; Your mercy, O Lord, endures forever; do not forsake the works of Your hands” (Psa.138:8). Whereas the world is full of decaying dreams, half-finished projects, and incomplete tasks, God is the Divine Finisher! He ensures Divine Perfection of all our Concerns. David, the author of this Psalm, experienced immense pressure—surrounded by enemies and facing various troubles. Yet, in verse 8, he shifts from the turmoil of life to a position of profound confidence.
“The LORD will perfect...” means God will bring to completion, mature, or fulfill what He has started in our lives. The word “perfect” in Hebrew also implies bringing to an end, specifically things that hinder our destiny. “That which concerns me” includes family, career, finances, health, relationships, spiritual growth, and ministry. God’s commitment to finishing His work in us is not based on our merit or perfection, but on His Mercy and Faithfulness: “...Your mercy, O Lord, endures forever." Moreover, we are God’s precious workmanship: "do not forsake the works of Your hands.” Just as an artist does not discard or destroy his own masterpiece, God will not abandon us midway through life’s journey!
The psalm begins with wholehearted praise (vv.1-2). David resolved to praise God with all his heart, focusing on God’s steadfast love and faithfulness. He affirmed that God places His Word and His promises even above His own name, ensuring that what He has spoken will come to pass (v.2b). He testified of receiving internal strength in trouble (v.3). When we cry out to God, He doesn't just change circumstances; He increases inner strength within our soul. God displays a divine regard for the lowly. Though He is exalted, He takes interest in the humble, while the proud are kept at a distance (v.6). Even when surrounded by trouble, God stretches out His right hand to preserve and protect His children (v.7). God takes ownership of our lives. Being the work of His hands, He is responsible for perfecting His purpose in us (v.8).
In Jesus’ Exalted Name, I declare that:
The Lord will perfect all that concerns me this season. Everything that has been resisting my breakthrough is broken by the Mercy of God.
As the work of His hands, I shall not be abandoned or forsaken. I receive the grace to finish strong and complete every project I have started.
God’s right hand is stretching out against the wrath of my enemies. I am not a project of abandonment; I am a project of perfection.
The Lord is reviving me in the midst of my current circumstances. Every good thing I have lost, the Power of God is recovering for me.
Doors of divine establishment are opening unto me, never to be shut. I shall finish my course strong and well, and my joy shall be full.

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
