LIGHT LIFTS

The Jews had LIGHT and GLADNESS, JOY and honour – Esther 8:16

LIGHT LIFTS; but darkness depresses. Light elevates, motivates, and stimulates. Darkness deflates and discourages. Light excites life and causes the heart to rejoice; whereas darkness dampens the spirit and weakens the heart. God leads to lift!

THE LIGHT OF UNDERSTANDING

So Philip ran to him, and heard him read the prophet Isaiah, and said, “ Do you UNDERSTAND what you are reading?” – Acts 8:30

THE LIGHT OF KNOWLEDGE

Woe to you lawyers! For you have taken away the KEY of KNOWLEDGE. You did not enter in yourselves, and those who were entering in your hindered – Luke 11:52

THE LIGHT OF LEARNING

A wise man will hear and will INCREASE LEARNING, and a man of understanding will attain wise counsel – Proverbs 1:5

THE LIGHT OF INSIGHT

The SECRET of the LORD is with those who fear Him; and He will show them His covenant – Psalm 25:14                             

INSIGHT is essential to IMPACT in life. Impact implies being unique; a plus not a minus; a contributor, not a detractor; a distributor, not a destitute. The Light of Insight is the principal key for Impact in Life. Impact is a direct product of Insight: the deeper the insight, the greater the impact.

THE LIGHT OF WISDOM

WISDOM is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and in all your getting, get understanding – Proverbs 4:7

THE LIGHT OF VISION

Where there is no VISION, the people perish: but he who keeps the law, happy is he – Proverbs 29:18

VISION is LIGHT, while ignorance is darkness. Vision is Insight into God’s plan. It is the unfolding of a divine plan as it relates to an individual, a group of people or a nation. Vision is the Flash of Divine Light to the mind of the human spirit by the Holy Spirit concerning God’s will and purpose. Vision is the unveiling of divine purpose.

PATH OF SHINING LIGHT

But the PATH of the just is as the SHINING LIGHT, that shines more and more unto the perfect day – Proverbs 4:18

Proverbs 4 contrasts between the path of the just and the way of the wicked. Verses 14-17 and 19 describe the dark, gloomy, and violent path of the unjust. Verse 18 highlights the bright and luminous path of the just, which gets brighter and brighter unto the full blaze of endless glory! Colossians 3:4 confirms this: “when Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall you also appear with Him in glory.”

He spread a cloud for a covering; and fire to give LIGHT IN THE NIGHT – Psalm 105:39

THE GIFT OF LIGHT

A light to bring revelation to the Gentiles, and the GLORY of Your people Israel – Luke 2:32

Our Vision

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
