Bible Meditation:
1 Kings 3:3-14

Woe to you lawyers! For you have taken away the KEY of KNOWLEDGE. You did not enter in yourselves, and those who were entering in your hindered – Luke 11:52

We have seen that learning is light. KNOWLEDGE also is light, because learning culminates in knowledge. We acquire knowledge in the process of learning. Knowledge is the sum or range of what we have perceived, discovered, become aware of or learned. However, knowledge is more than the art of gathering information; KNOWLEDGE IS POWER. Knowledge empowers. Knowledge has the ability to set free and make free (Jh.8:32)

1 Samuel 2:3b testifies that: “…the LORD is a GOD of KNOWLEDGE; and by Him actions are weighed.” Solomon recognized this and prayed to the LORD: “Now give me WISDOM and KNOWLEDGE, that I may go out and come in before this people: for who can judge this great people of Yours?” (2Chr.1:10). God commended him and promptly granted his request. Romans 11:33 exclaims: “Oh, the depth of the riches both of the WISDOM and KNOWLEDGE of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and His ways past finding out!” The Lord Jesus testified to Knowledge being an indispensable Key of Life (Lk.11:52).

  • Knowledge is the Key to strength, power and exploits: “…but the people who KNOW their God shall be STRONG, and carry out GREAT EXPLOITS (Dan.11:32b).
  • Knowledge is the Key to Freedom and Liberty: “And you shall KNOW the truth, and the truth shall make you free” (Jh.8:32). In the context of this scripture, it is not just the Truth, but the KNOWLEDGE of the Truth that makes you free.
  • Knowledge is the Key to Establishment and Stability: WISDOM and KNOWLEDGE will be the stability of your times, and the strength of salvation; the fear of the LORD is His treasure” (Is.33:6).

When knowledge is lacking, destruction is inevitable: “My people are destroyed for LACK of KNOWLEDGE. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being priest for Me...” (Hos.4:6). Proverbs 19:2 says, “Also, that the soul be without knowledge, it is not good…” The will of God is: “That you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and INCREASING in the KNOWLEDGE of God” (Col.1:10). His Knowledge is the gateway into “all things that pertain to life and godliness” (2Pet.1:3). I pray that you will “grow in Grace and KNOWLEDGE of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ” (2Pet.3:18)!

Our Vision

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
