FROM REPROACH TO RECOGNITION

Thus hath the Lord dealt with me in the days wherein he looked on me, to take away my reproach among men – Luke 1: 25

Zechariah and Elizabeth were a somewhat obscure couple, Whom God’s grace and mercy elevated into eternal eminence and distinction to become the parents to John the Baptist – the Saviour’s Fore-runner! Christmas can be your season of phenomenal transformation, from reproach to recognition, from anonymity and obscurity to significance.

THE MIRACLE OF MERCY

And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless. And they had no child, because that Elisabeth was barren, and they both were now well stricken in years – Luke 1: 6-7

SATURATING SALVATION

“How comprehensive is the love of Jesus! There is no part of His people’s interests which He does not consider, and there is nothing which concerns their welfare which is not important to him. Not merely does He think of you, believer, as an immortal being, but as a mortal being too.

THE SHEPHERDS’ SONG OF THANKSGIVING

And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen, as it was told unto them – Luke 2: 20

“What was the subject of their praise? They praised God for what they had HEARD – for the good tidings of great joy that a Saviour was born unto them. Let us copy them; let us also raise a song of thanksgiving that we have heard of Jesus and his salvation.

THANKSGIVING IS IMPERATIVE

Let everything that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD – Psalm 150:6

Let us ponder on why thanksgiving is imperative and not an option. You must give thanks to the Lord, because the very breath of your nostrils is sourced in God. Everything that has breath must praise the Lord. The chief essence of my breath is His praise (Psa. 150:6).

TRIUMPH OF THANKSGIVING

Enter into His gates with THANKSGIVING, and into His courts with praise: be THANKFUL unto Him, and bless His name – Psalm 100:4

Thanksgiving is the powerful track to your triumph. Why so? Hearty thanksgiving is the gateway into God’s house (Psa.100:4). No thanksgiving; no access into the divine Presence. Thanksgiving is not an option in the Kingdom; it is a command worthy of obedience: O give thanks unto the LORD; for He is good; for His mercy endureth for ever (1 Chr.16:34; Psa.106:1, 107:1, 118:1; 136:1).

SONNETS OF THANKSGIVING

Oh that men would praise the LORD for His goodness, and for His wonderful works to the children of men! – Psalm 107: 8

“If we complained less, and praised more, we should be happier, and God would be more glorified. Let us daily praise God for common mercies – common as we frequently call them, and yet so priceless, that when deprived of them we are ready to perish.

WORDS LIVE AND STICK

In the multitude of words there wanteth not sin: but he that refraineth his lips is wise – Proverbs 10:19

The words we speak LIVE and STICK. Words are always on the move, conveying messages, carrying powerful thoughts, transmitting colourful imaginations in the minds of the speakers or writers to those who hear, read or see them. Words can almost assume tangible reality when they are released. Words are the ‘substance’ in the spirit realm.

VALUE YOUR BREATH

Let everything that has breath praise the Lord… – Psalm 150:6

The first man was a product of the Breath of the Almighty God: And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the BREATH of LIFE; and man became a living soul (Genesis 2:7). That eternal Breath of Life transformed a handful of dirt and dust into a living, breathing human being with the capacity to think, feel, dream, imagine, relate, reproduce, love and live forever!

REST OF FAITH

There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God – Psalm 150:6

“That REST includes VICTORY: “The Lord gave them rest on every side… The Lord handed all their enemies over to them” (Josh. 21:44). “Thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus
Christ” (1 Cor. 15:57).

Our Vision

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
