TRIUMPH OF THANKSGIVING

Date:

Bible Meditation:
2 Chronicles 20: 1-30

Enter into His gates with THANKSGIVING, and into His courts with praise: be THANKFUL unto Him, and bless His name – Psalm 100:4

Thanksgiving is the powerful track to your triumph. Why so? Hearty thanksgiving is the gateway into God’s house (Psa.100:4). No thanksgiving; no access into the divine Presence. Thanksgiving is not an option in the Kingdom; it is a command worthy of obedience: O give thanks unto the LORD; for He is good; for His mercy endureth for ever (1 Chr.16:34; Psa.106:1, 107:1, 118:1; 136:1).

Thanksgiving paves the way for fresh impact. Every time you truly thank God, fresh oil for fresh impact flows on you. You never run dry with true thanksgiving. Thankful David was also the anointed David (Psa. 89:1, 20-24). God never abandons those who truly appreciate Him. He is ever faithful to those who take it up as their duty to make known His faithfulness.

Thanksgiving is the key to supernatural triumph. Every child of God carries a great and glorious destiny which naturally attracts the attention of the enemy. However, with a heart of thanksgiving and an attitude of gratitude, your battles become God’s battles. You wouldn’t need to sweat to enjoy the sweetness of victory (2 Chr. 20:22-24).

Multiplication answers to thanksgiving and gratitude. Every dimension of blessing – spiritual, physical, financial and material – multiplies at the instance of thanksgiving. It is the secret behind sufficiency in Christ. On giving thanks to God, the five barley loaves and two small fishes supernaturally multiplied to feed more than five thousand people, with twelve basket full s remaining (John 6:6-13).

Thanksgiving not only grants access into God’s court, it establishes us in His House. It is the secret behind our stability and sustainable fruitfulness and flourishing in God’s kingdom. The Psalmist sang: “It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord…” He then affirmed that those who are planted in the house of the Lord will flourish in His courts and remain fruitful even in old age (Psa.92:1, 13-14). That friend, is the power of thanksgiving and gratitude!

Our Vision

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
