Bible Meditation:
1 Corinthians 15: 50-58

“But thanks be to God, Who gives us THE VICTORY through our Lord Jesus Christ” – 1 Corinthians 15:57

In Christ Jesus, the PROMISES of VICTORY have become a Living Reality: “But thanks be to God, Who gives us THE VICTORY through our Lord Jesus Christ” (1 Cor.15:57). Today’s meditation passage serves as a powerful, triumphant conclusion to Paul’s teaching on the resurrection, assuring Believers of total victory over sin, death, and the grave through Jesus Christ. The discourse shifted from theological doctrine to the practical application of Victory over death and sin. Corruptible human flesh cannot inherit God’s Kingdom; therefore, a miraculous transformation is necessary (vv.5-53,56). Death was swallowed up in victory; and because Christ is risen, Believers are given Victory over sin, the law, and the grave, and are called to be “steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord" (vv.54-58).

Verse 57 emphasizes that victory is a divine gift, not an earned attainment. It highlights that through Jesus, Believers are granted triumph over sin and death, encouraging a mindset of fighting FROM VICTORY, not FOR IT. Other key scriptures reinforce this Reality of Victory:

John 16:33 – “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”

Romans 8:37 – Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.”

2 Corinthians 2:14 – Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place.”

Colossians 2:15 – Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.”

1 John 5:4 – For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world – our faith.”

Revelation 12:11 – And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.”

On the authority of scriptures, I declare, in Jesus’ Name that:

In Christ, I am a victor, not a victim. The sting of death has no power over me. I walk in the victory God provides.

Every spiritual opposition is destroyed by the blood of Jesus. I have received the gift of Victory over sin, fear, and death. I am walking in the fullness of this Victory.

I am steadfast and abounding in the work of the Lord, and My labour in the Lord is never in vain.

I am more than a conqueror and an Overcomer in life. I walk in divine Dominion. Sin's power over my life and destiny is broken.

This is my season of Victory and Triumph. I am walking in the power of resurrection life. The joy of the Lord is my strength.

Our Vision

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
