SWIFT DIVINE PERFORMANCE (2)

“Behold, the days are coming,” says the Lord, “When the plowman shall overtake the reaper…” – Amos 9:13a

For every seed sown the Believer can expect overlapping harvests through SWIFT DIVINE PERFORMANCE: “Behold, the days are coming,” says the Lord, “When the plowman shall overtake the reaper, and the treader of grapes him who sows seed; the mountains shall drip with sweet wine, and all the hills shall flow with it.” (Amos 9:13). God can accelerate our advancement so rapidly that our next major breakthrough catches up before we can even finish celebrating the preceding one. He can break the natural laws of seedtime and harvest to replace the long seasons of waiting with an irresistible momentum of blessing.

In the natural world, success takes time. We plow the ground, plant the seed, wait months for growth, and finally harvest the crop. Each step is separated by months of gruelling labour and patient waiting. God is not restricted to operating under these natural rules. Our breakthroughs need not crawl at a snail's pace. In Amos 9, looking at a broken, ruined nation, God promised to rebuild the tabernacle of David and restore what was lost at a supernatural velocity! This model of Swift Divine Performance cancels the standard calendar of human achievement.

In a normal agricultural cycle, there is a wide gap between when the reaper finishes his harvest and the plowman starts preparing the ground. But the spectacular imagery of divine acceleration portrays a harvest so massive and a fruitfulness so fast that the reaper is still collecting the abundance when the plowman shows up to start the next cycle! Avalanches of consecutive blessings collapse into each other. We won't even have enough time to finish a thanksgiving testimony for one miracle before the next weighty wave of favour flows into our lives! Human momentum requires constant hustle; divine momentum is about standing still in rest while the harvest actively overtakes us!

In Leviticus 26:5, God promises that our threshing shall last until the time of vintage, creating a steady, gap-free cycle of supernatural supply. We need an expanded mental capacity to believe God and expect a cluster of simultaneous breakthroughs. We must not settle for stagnation or become complacent after a breakthrough. With faith kept active, one miracle is just the baseline for the next one already tracking us down!

I break free from spirits of snail pace, stagnation, prolonged waiting, and delayed harvests, into seasons of rapid, overlapping breakthroughs!

The supernatural momentum of the Holy Spirit is accelerating life. My current season of celebration is overtaken by fresh phases of favour.

I am a highly favoured child of God, girded by Goodness and Mercy. I will not finish testifying about one miracle before the next flows in.

Every seed of prayer and giving I have sown is maturing into successive harvests, and a continuous, irresistible cycle of divine overflow.
