SWIFT DIVINE PERFORMANCE (4)

“He sends out His command to the earth, HIS WORD RUNS VERY SWIFTLY” – Psalm 147:15

The Word of God possesses inherent Power for SWIFT DIVINE PERFORMANCE: “He sends out His command to the earth, HIS WORD RUNS VERY SWIFTLY” (Psa.147:15). When God issues a decree for our breakthrough, His Word never crawls; it runs with a supernatural velocity that compresses time and compels speedy results. No structural barrier, economic gridlock, or human opposition can delay a command that leaves the Mouth of the Almighty. God’s Word never returns to Him void; it actively runs to accomplish exactly what He pleased without delay or a single moment of decay (Isa.55:11). He enforces an immediate reality that completely bypasses natural timelines.

Humanity is deeply accustomed to bureaucratic friction: waiting months for legal clearances, semesters for academic results, and years for financial stability. Trapped in such sluggish systems, we subconsciously assume that God operates under the same heavy limitations. We presume that our prayers are stuck in a heavenly waiting room, slowly filtering through a celestial layout of red tape. This is far from reality. While God can sovereignty orchestrate Divine Timing and even Divine Delay for unique purposes, He retains and often displays His capacity for swift and speedy performance of His Will in the lives of individuals and affairs of nations.

In Psalm 147, the nation of Israel was celebrating the rebuilding of Jerusalem after a long, gruelling season of exile. The Psalmist called on Zion to praise God, as He strengthens the bars of city gates, blesses children, makes peace within borders, and fills the tables with the finest wheat. God orchestrates these structural security and massive prosperity by the dynamic Power of His swift-running communication (v.15). This totally shatters the illusion of a crawling, slow-moving God. This vivid imagery depicts that God doesn’t just send help; He sends a command. In the original Hebrew context, the word for "command" carries the weight of a royal, non-negotiable edict.

God’s Word is a swift runner sprinting to its destination. The moment He speaks a turnaround over any aspect of our lives, that Word runs past human protocols, leaps over systemic bottlenecks, and materializes promptly on the earth. Just as He sends snow like wool and scatters frost like ashes, God totally controls the seasons of our lives (v.16). When we pray according to His Will, we can expect His Word to catch up with our situation, and change our story! God can issue a command at midnight and deliver our testimony by dawn.

In Jesus’ Mighty Name, I affirm that:

I step out of delay into my peculiar season of swift divine performance, as God’s authoritative command runs very swiftly on my behalf.

I break free from stagnation, demonic bottlenecks, and slow progress. Every locked destiny gate is opening as God’s Word shatters all bars.

God’s Word is actively delivering my testimonies of triumph, as I move forward in boldness, backed by the Dynamism of the Holy Spirit.
