"Through the tender mercy of our God, with which the DAYSPRING from ON HIGH HAS VISITED us” – Luke 1: 78
God’s Tender Mercy propels His VISITATION from ON HIGH: "Through the tender mercy of our God, with which the DAYSPRING from ON HIGH HAS VISITED us” (Luke.1:78). For centuries, Israel sat in darkness, under Roman oppression and spiritual silence, yearning for the promised Saviour. Following the birth of John the Baptist, Zechariah prophesied this song of hope: the darkness was about to end. Visitation is like sunrise after a dark night. Here was the arrival of the "Dayspring" Himself – Heaven’s Sunrise of Mercy igniting a New Dawn on earth.
The purpose of the Forerunner, John the Baptist, was to go before the Lord, teaching that salvation comes through the forgiveness of sins (vv.76-77). Indeed, a true Visitation from God always prioritizes repentance and reconciliation over mere material blessings. The Source of the Visitation was rooted solely in the "tender mercy of our God". The salvation and visitation we receive come from God's “Bowels of Mercy" which literally implies deep compassion. The dawn broke, not because we earned it, but because He is merciful. When we are at our lowest, wandering in the “shadow of death,” God does not look upon us with cold judgment but with heartfelt compassion.
The “Dayspring” is the Dawn! Just as a sunrise is inevitable, unstoppable, and dispels all darkness, Christ's coming brought Light to a dark world. Yet, He brings more than light; He brings Salvation, Illumination, Direction, and Peace (v.79). His Visitation serves to bring “light to those who sit in darkness” and “guide our feet into the way of peace.” He penetrates the deepest darkness and guides our feet aright. His Visitation from on high terminates satanic bondage and initiates divine fulfillment in our lives. That John grew strong in spirit in the wilderness infers that divine visitation often prepares us through seasons of isolation or quiet preparation before public manifestation (v.80).
Rather than trying to earn God’s Love, we should embrace His Tender Mercy daily, knowing He cares for us. As we evaluate areas of our lives that are still shrouded in the darkness of sin, fear, or anxiety, let’s invite the “Dayspring” – our Lord Jesus – to shine and bring clarity, trusting Him to guide us into Paths of Peace. When our feet are guided by Him, peace becomes our outcome. Like John, we can get ready for growth by utilising the desert times of obscurity to become stronger in spirit through prayer and the Word, preparing for the work ahead.
In Jesus’ Name, I affirm that:
By God's Tender Mercy, a new dawn of hope breaks into my life. Heaven’s Sunrise enlightens every area of darkness and shadow of death.
By the Visitation of the Dayspring from on high, all darkness in my life is terminated. Every satanic chain prohibiting my progress is shattered.
My life is singled out for a turn-around visitation that will make me celebrate. The Lord wipes away all tears and puts an end to sorrow.
I am guided into the way of peace. My steps are ordered by the Lord. I am growing strong in spirit. I shall not waste in the wilderness of life.

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
