TIMES AND SEASONS (2)

“And He said to them, “It is not for you to know TIMES and SEASONS which the Father has put in His own authority” – Acts 1:7

The proper attitude towards Divine TIMES and SEASONS should be Pure Trust in God: “And He said to them, “It is not for you to know TIMES and SEASONS which the Father has put in His own authority” (Acts 1:7). Our Lord Jesus Christ instructed the disciples to wait in Jerusalem for the Holy Spirit, shifting their focus from restoring the earthly kingdom of Israel to a global spiritual mission. He promised them power to become witnesses “to the ends of the earth,” setting the stage for the birth of the Church. The Father knows the exact times and seasons of our lives. He doesn't need our anxiety or worry, just our faithful stewardship of the present and positive envisioning of the future.

Waiting for God’s right “timing” is critical; hence, the Lord instructed His disciples to “wait”! Each call has its own timing and plan. Waiting time is for building capacity. When it is our turn, everything will definitely turn to us. Our Lord Jesus Christ underscored the Divine Authority of Timing. The disciples were eager to know when God would restore the kingdom to Israel, but the Lord redirected their focus, establishing that the specific timelines, epochs, and seasons of our lives and global events belong exclusively to God's sovereign authority and wisdom. He highlighted the priority of Preparation before Manifestation (vv.4-5). In God’s economy, times of waiting are not periods of dormancy, but seasons of deep spiritual preparation and receiving heavenly capacity.

God’s Seasons require God’s Power. The Infilling of the Holy Spirit was to grant the Believers supernatural ability to fulfill His mandate of progressive Kingdom Expansion. The seasons of our lives are meant to bear fruit, beginning right where we are and progressively extending to the “end of the earth" (v.8). Therefore, instead of frantically trying to force open doors, let’s use our current season for prayer, skill-building, and renewing our strength, trusting that God has perfectly scheduled every event of our lives. As we yield to the Holy Spirit daily, He’ll provide the courage, wisdom, and grace needed for the specific season we’re currently navigating. Rushing the process will dilute the product! Let’s embrace the season of preparation, for a delayed harvest only yields a greater testimony.

In Jesus’ Name, I declare, that:

I will not miss my moment of divine visitation because my eyes are fixed on the One who orders my steps.

Every season of waiting in my life is actively producing harvests of strength, endurance, and deep spiritual maturity.

My life is aligned with God's perfect timing; no blessing intended for me will be delayed, and no purpose will be aborted.

I am stepping into my season of manifestation, and the hidden potentials within me are coming to light for God’s Glory.

Confusion and anxiety over the future are broken off my life, and I walk in the peace and confidence of God’s sovereign control.

I receive the fresh empowerment of the Holy Spirit to be a bold, effective witness for Christ in my family, community, and globally.
