“My people will dwell in a PEACEFUL HABITATION, in secure dwellings, and in quiet resting places”– Isaiah 32:18
DIVINE RESTORATION and PEACE are direct results of God’s Spirit and Righteousness: “The work of righteousness will be PEACE, and the effect of righteousness, quietness and assurance forever. My people will dwell in a PEACEFUL HABITATION, in secure dwellings, and in quiet resting places” (Isa.32:17-18). This offers a three-fold blessing of complete security for lives and homes: a peaceable environment, stable dwellings, and undisturbed rest. In Isaiah 32, Israel experienced a divinely-orchestrated shift from Desolation to Divine Performance. Earlier, the prophet painted a grim wilderness picture – a barren land stripped of joy due to complacency. But the narrative abruptly shifts in verse 15 with a powerful catalyst for Divine Performance: "Until the spirit be poured upon us from on high..."
When God steps in, His Spirit reverses decades of decay. The desert instantly becomes a fruitful field, and what was once considered fruitful is elevated to a forest. This supernatural change is not humanly engineered; it is a display of Divine Restoration established in an ecosystem of Divine Order the sweet sequence of which is revealed in verses 17 and 18. Tranquillity is not an accident, but the direct “work” and “effect” of righteousness – being aligned with God. When He works a miracle of restoration, He doesn't just repair our external circumstances; He secures our internal settings. He doesn't just fix what was broken; He fortifies it so it can never be easily shaken again. Even when storms or trials hit the surroundings (symbolized by the “hail” and the city brought “low”), God's people are promised a secure sanctuary and Rest.
When we align with righteousness – pursuing attitudes, thoughts, and choices that honour God, we’ll partake of peace as it’s effect, while quietness and assurance seamlessly follow. We can rest amidst the storm, trusting His protection even when the world around us is shaken. Peace is not the absence of trouble, but the presence of Divine Order. When hail falls on the forest, God’s people remain safe (v.19). In particular, a peaceful home is not the absence of outside storms, but the Presence of the Holy Spirit: “Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it; unless the Lord guards the city, the watchman stays awake in vain” (Psa.127:1)
I can boldly testify to these enduring truths. Looking back on 39 years of a godly, peaceful, and fruitful marriage, I see the Hand of the Divine Performer. Through the seasons, God has kept our habitation sure, proving that when He builds the house, His Peace becomes a permanent resident. So, it pays to prioritize His Presence! Restoration begins with the Spirit. Let’s embrace Him and stop fighting battles in self-strength!
In Jesus’ Name, I declare that:
The Holy Spirit is resident eternally in my life, turning every wilderness into a fruitful field, and securing my home and marriage from all evil.
By Christ’s righteousness, my heart is anchored in unshakeable peace. I remain untouched, protected, and deeply secure from all storms.
My home is a peaceable habitation, sure dwelling, and quiet resting place. My family thrives in fruitfulness, covenant love, order, and unity.
I possess quietness and assurance in my spirit, soul, and body. I step into total restoration; all the enemy stole is returned in multiple folds!

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
