Bible Meditation:
Joshua 6: 1-21

So the people shouted when the priests blew with the trumpets: and it came to pass, when the people heard the sound of the trumpet, and the people shouted with a great shout, that the wall fell down flat, so that the people went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they took the city Joshua 6:20 (NKJV)

Scriptures teach one key lesson concerning Praise: all enemy forces bow to the Praise of God. In Exodus 15 we read the account of how after Israel had crossed the Red Sea, and Pharaoh, his chariots, horses and riders had been destroyed, the prompt response of Moses and the Israelites was to praise God, saying: “The Lord is a man of war; the Lord is His name.”  Jehovah, the Man of War is still reigning on His eternal Throne. As long as you belong to Him and give Him the Praise that is due, He’ll defend your destiny. He’ll ensure the defeat of any Pharaoh that must be brought down for you to go forward.

Jericho was Israel’s fist battle after crossing the Jordan to go in and possess Canaan. God gave Joshua the plan for taking the city and winning the battle without a fight! Israel was confronted by this impregnable wall that no known human-manufactured machines then could pull down. God told them to move round the wall once in a day for six days. On the seventh day, they moved round the wall seven times, and on the seventh, they shouted praise, and the wall came down (Jos. 6:20). Jericho’s wall “melted” in the hands of Praise. Any obstructing barrier debarring you from making progress in life will likewise fall flat before you in Jesus name.

Joshua won with the high praises of God and a shout of victory. Applying praise in warfare is however not about instructing God what to do; rather, it is to believe that He knows the best possible means to win the battle. Praise derives from knowing that “the battle is not yours, but God’s” (2Chr.20:15b). As you praise Him, you are taking the focus off yourself, the enemy or the toughness of warfare. You are turning the battle over into the Hands of Jehovah, the Mighty Man of Valour. Then, your Victory is sure and guaranteed.

Our Vision

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
