"Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and PEACE in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit" – Romans 15:13
DIVINE PEACE and Joy are byproducts of believing in God’s ability to fulfil His Promises: "Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and PEACE in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit" (Rom.15:13). In the contemporary world, peace often feels like a fragile, fleeting emotion dependent on perfect circumstances. However, under the banner of the supernatural operational power of God fulfilling His word – peace is not an emotion; it is a divine reality. In today’s meditation passage, the Apostle Paul anchors our souls to a profound truth: God’s promises are backed by His Performance, and Divine Peace is the eventual result of believing those promises.
Things written in the past were written for our instruction (v.4). The Scriptures provide the encouragement necessary to hold onto hope when physical evidence suggests otherwise. Furthermore, God is revealed as the Author of endurance and encouragement. True Unity among believers is His supernatural performance, enabling us to glorify Him with "one mind and one mouth." (v.6). Verse 13 serves as the climactic apostolic blessing. Paul introduced "the God of Hope." This implies that hope is not just something God gives; it is who He is.
This peak of the divine operations indicates a total saturation: “Fill you with all joy and peace in believing.” The entry point to this fullness is simply BELIEVING. God performs the filling; our responsibility is the faith. Peace is not the absence of trouble, but the Presence of God operating perfectly in it. When our faith connects with God's promise, His performance establishes our peace, resulting to abounding in hope. The word "abound" implies a lifestyle of bubbling over; having a surplus of hope despite negative external conditions. Reference to the Holy Spirit guarantees that this Peace is not manufactured by human willpower or positive thinking. It is generated by the engine of the Holy Spirit.
To actualize God’s Peace, we must anchor our minds on the Word, and intentionally feed on Scriptures that answer anxiety. God’s track record in the Bible is proof of His future performances. Next, we must protect our atmosphere of Unity: Divine Peace thrives in the climate of harmony. We actively choose to live in oneness with fellow believers in order to see God's Glory manifested (v.5). Finally, we must yield to the Holy Spirit, asking Him to activate His Power within us, and to flood our hearts with joy, assurance, and calmness.
In Jesus’ Name, I declare that:
The God of Hope fills my heart to overflowing! By the power of His Spirit, my heart and mind are completely saturated with Divine Peace.
Every storm of anxiety and fear in my life are stilled! My faith is locked into God’s promises; therefore, His performance is guaranteed.
I break free from the grip of worry, step into God’s rest, and walk in a surplus of hope, regardless of what the economy or situation looks like.
God’s supernatural Joy is my strength and my shield. Every root of bitterness or discord in my relationships is overruled by Divine Love.
The Holy Spirit is working to perform God's Word in my life. Overflowing Hope, supernatural Joy, and Divine Peace are my daily portions!

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
