Psalm 149: 1-9

Let the HIGH PRAISES of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand – Psalm 149: 6 (NKJV)

Many Christians are used to “Prayer warfare,” but only a few understand the reality of “Praise warfare.” In our preceding meditations, we have seen that Praise is a superior Weapon of Warfare in the conflicts of life. In the Old Testament, not only spiritual, but even physical warfare were won through the instrumentality of Praise. Believers need a working knowledge and understanding of Praise as a vital part of the Victory arsenal within our overall package of Redemption. In particular, the Most High God is worthy to receive our High Praises!

Praise is vital to Victory in all destiny-impacting warfare, because it brings the omnipotent and unstoppable God into the situation. When you praise God passionately and with pure motives, He steps into your life’s affairs, in all His awesomeness, power, might, and glory. As you release yourself to offer praises to the name of the Lord, you’ll secure His Company in the midst of the toughest of conflicts. When God comes on the scene, His enemies are irreversibly scattered: “Let God arise, let His enemies be scattered…Sing to God, sing praises to His name; Extol Him who rides on the clouds…” (Psa.68:1-4).

Praise is a God-given weapon in your heart and mouth, with which to humiliate the devil and his allies. There is no shut prison door that praise cannot shatter. There is no dungeon that praise cannot dismantle. There is no hindering barrier that praise cannot penetrate. With praise in place, you simply transfer the battle from your feeble hand to God’s mighty hand. In the realm of high praise, your enemies would begin to shiver and tremble. When you engage in praise-warfare, every wall of Jericho in your life will crumble (Jos.6:20).

When the evil spirit came upon King Saul, whenever David began to play on the instrument of music, the evil spirit departed from the depressed king (1Sam.16:23). Evil spirits cannot endure the presence of praise. The enemies cannot survive the atmosphere of praises, because that is God’s habitat. Praise commands the divine Presence, which automatically dispels every demonic influence or evil manifestation. Through Praise-warfare, you’ll “execute vengeance” upon the wicked, punishments upon the enemies, and “the written judgement” upon all adversaries. “This honour have all His saints” (v.9).

Our Vision

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
