PRAISE GOD IN THE DANCE

Let them PRAISE HIS NAME IN THE DANCE: let them sing praises to Him with the timbrel and harp – Psalm 149: 3 (NKJV)

Psalm 149: 1-5 shows that praise involves much more than singing. In the realm of High Praises, you come through God’s gates with thanksgiving, enter into His courts with new songs, approach His throne with exuberant rejoicing, including the passion to “praise His name in the dance” as well as with diverse instruments of music, such as the timbrel and harp. No wonder, praise is one of the most potent weapons in spiritual warfare. It brings the Almighty on the scene. When He takes over your battles, you become a relaxed winner; you obtain sweat-less triumph!

As you praise God in the dance, any evil force trying to tie down your redemptive rights will bow or be broken. God will defend and vindicate whosoever offers high praises to Him. When David leaped and danced before the Lord with all his might, accompanied with shouting and the sound of the trumpet, his mocker – even his very wife – came under God’s prompt and permanent judgement (2Sam.6:14-23). As you step into the praise-warfare dance mode, and key into the anointing of praising God in the dance, whatever has been despising or mocking you will come under divine judgement.

Praising God in the dance opens up access for your beauty to emerge and your destiny to blossom: “For the Lord takes pleasure in His people: He will beautify the meek with salvation” (Psa.149:4). You can dance off from your life whatever is contrary to dignity and beauty. You can dance your way into conquest, victory, and triumph. As you engage in the high praise dimension of dancing, God will visit His vengeance against every ugly and horrid situation in your life. Jeremiah 31: 13 says, “Then shall the virgin rejoice in the dance, both young men and old together: for I will turn their mourning into joy, and will comfort them, and make them rejoice from their sorrow.”

With His high praises in your mouth coupled with the two-edged Sword of His Word, whatever God has not planted in your life, family, finances, business, career or ministry will be permanently uprooted (Mt.15:13). Through praises, you’ll disarm the enemies of your destiny. Demonic bondages, sicknesses, poverty, lack, shame, disgrace, and other satanic emissaries will bow before the high praises of God. Praise will grant you access into the harm-free zone of life. The Lord will give you ample reasons, not only to sing, but to leap and dance before Him, and access realms of total triumph!
