LANGUAGE OF PASSION

Bible Meditation:
2 Chronicles 31:1-21

Whom have I in heaven but thee? And there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee – Psalm 73:25

“…No wonder David was so honoured by God. He lavished his wholesome passion on God. His entire life was devoted to the services of God. He was a great singer, musician, military commander, warrior, king, hymn writer, prophet, and a great man.

PASSION is a LANGUAGE of the HEART.

David simply refers to himself as a servant of God. His heart is free from alloy and hypocrisy. Passion is indeed a language of the heart. Passion makes you CHRIST-dependent and CRISIS-independent.

Lord all my desire is before thee, and my groaning is not hid from thee (Psalm 38:9).

Nature abhors a vacuum or idleness. Whatever you set your focus on will come your way, sooner or later. Passion geared towards hard work and diligence will soon result in true prosperity. PASSION, when HARNESSED rightly is POWER. You cannot travel the road to prosperity without a puncture, but passion keeps you going.

Hezekiah, Judah’s second-best king and the richest of all was a passionate man. He had a strong passion to serve God. He repaired the temple, organized an orchestral group, and appointed a Levitical singing choir. He carried out the greatest Passover celebration since Solomon. ENTHUSIASM was his watchword.

And in every work that he began in the service of the house of God, and in the law, and in the commandments, to seek his God, he did it with ALL HIS HEART, and prospered (2 Chronicles 31:21).

FEED your PASSION with GOD’s WORD.

…The Chinese proverb says: “It is better to light a candle than to curse the darkness.” Turn the switch of your passion on and you have a foundation for true progress.”

Prayer:
Lord, teach me and make me skilful in the language of passion!

Our Vision

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
