THE GREATEST VISITATION

Date:

Bible Meditation:
Matthew 1: 18-25

Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which is translated, “GOD WITH US – Matthew 1:23

EMMANUEL – “God with Us” – represents the GREATEST VISITATION in creation: Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which is translated, “GOD WITH US (Matt.1:23). Divine Visitation is not merely God glancing down from heaven; it is Divinity impacting humanity. God became Man. Immanuel means loneliness ends; divinity now dwells in humanity. While God visits to bless, heal, and restore, the Birth of Jesus Christ, as recorded in Matthew 1, represents the Greatest Visitation in human history. God did not just send an angel; He came in Person to dwell among us, breaking the limitations of sin and restoring humanity to Himself.

This Visitation broke legal and social shames: Joseph was a righteous man facing a scandalous situation. He planned to divorce Mary quietly to avoid public shame (v.19). However, divine visitation steps into our silent, shameful situations to change the narrative. The Supernatural overtakes the natural. The angel informed Joseph that the Child was conceived by the Holy Spirit (v.20). Divine Visitation bypasses human logic, biological limitations, and impossible odds to birth the miraculous. The Key Purpose is Salvation: The Child Jesus would save His people from their sins (v.21). This visitation was not just for material blessing, but for eternal salvation and deliverance from the power of sin.

The Focus and Peak of the Visitation was: Emmanuel – God with Us (v. 23). It is the promise that God is no longer distant, but present – in our pain, our storms, and our joy! What He demands is the Response of Obedience (vv. 24-25): Joseph woke up and obeyed. A true encounter with God brings a transformation of character and prompt obedience, regardless of what others think. Rather than accepting the fear of shame, like Joseph, we can trust that God is working behind the scenes, even when situations look confusing. We are called to live in consciousness of Emmanuel: Jesus is with us always (Matt 28:20). Therefore, we can face challenges with confidence. Let’s surrender our “Quiet Plans” and yield our lives to God’s Plan, not our own logical solutions. A divine visitation disrupts the status quo. Let’s be prepared!

In Jesus’ Name, I declare that:

God is with me! I am never alone in life’s trials. Every negative verdict against my life is reversed in this Season of Divine Visitation.

Like Joseph, I am shielded from shame and guided by angelic visitation. The Holy Spirit will birth miracles in my life that defy human logic.

The Power of the Highest overshadow me to produce fruitful testimonies. My name is mentioned for honour, favour, and breakthrough.

I prepare for God’s Visitation as I surrender my “quiet plans” and yield to the eternal Plan and Divine Agenda of the Designer of my Destiny.

I will not miss my Time of Visitation; my heart is open to receive. More and more, my life will be a living testimony that God dwells with men.

Lord, thank You for counting us worthy to receive Emmanuel – the Greatest Visitation that deletes sin and shame and installs Dignity, in Jesus' name.

Our Vision

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
