THE FOUNTAIN OF FAVOUR

For with thee is the FOUNTAIN of LIFE: in thy light shall we see light – Psalm 36:9

The Almighty God is the Ultimate and Original FOUNTAIN of FAVOUR. Any other entity is either a mere imitation or a channel or stream of favour. Every true form of favour is sourced from God – the Fountain of Life. God is the Fountain of Living Waters (Jh.7:38). He is also the Maker of the fountains of waters (Rev.14:7). From Him alone are the unending flows of favour, fruitfulness and life. Remember what Psalm 30:5 says: “…in His favour is life...” In essence, God has the Fountain of Life; He is the Fountain of Favour and He is the Light of lights – the Father of lights! James 1:17 describes Him with these words: “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.” The word “every” implies that favour cannot be found outside of the Father of lights – our Fountain of Favour!

LIFE, LIGHT and FAVOUR always flow from the same Source and in the same direction. Therefore, the more of the Life and Light of God you partake of, the more of His favour becomes available to you. When by Covenant, you become intimately connected to the eternal Fountain of Favour, He’ll cause the flow of favour into your domain through whatever channels, carriers, streams and vehicles of favour He chooses to use. But you must never give the Glory due to the Fountain to the carriers, channels, streams or vehicles, lest the flow cease or changes course!

I pray that you shall never be disconnected from the Fountain of Favour. The living streams from the Fountain shall never be dammed from reaching your domain. The channels and vehicles of favour will cooperate for your good in Jesus name.
