“MY TIMES are in YOUR HAND…” – Psalm 31:15a

Concerning DIVING TIMING and PROCESSING, believers are called to trust the Potter’s Hand: “MY TIMES are in YOUR HAND; deliver me from the hand of my enemies, and from those who persecute me” (Psa.31:15). In moments of uncertainty, it is entirely human to try to rush God’s process. We often pray for the destination – deliverance, breakthrough, or promotion – without fully surrendering to the journey of processing. Psalm 31, however, reveals a profound reality: our timelines are securely held in God’s Eternal Hands (v.15). The waiting period is not an interlude of inactivity; it is a season of intense spiritual development in the Potter's Hands (Jer.18:6).

David wrote this psalm during a season of intense peril and affliction. Yet, his confidence was not in his own ability to escape, but in the absolute sovereignty of God. Divine Timing is rarely about God being late; it is about God being precise. During the “waiting” seasons, He is actively processing us – purging our fears, refining our character, and aligning our hearts with His Perfect Will. Let’s stop measuring progress by worldly standards, knowing that God’s delays are often His way of developing our capacity to handle the upcoming harvest. God is never too early, and He is never late. He is always exactly on time, preparing the miracle and the vessel simultaneously!

Trusting the Potter’s Hands demands total surrender (v.14). Declaring "You are my God" is a wilful surrender of control. It means trusting God’s authority over our timeline, even when reality looks contrary. To acknowledge sovereignty over circumstances – that “My times are in Your hand" – brings peace (v.15). The seasons of preparation, trial, and victory are perfectly scheduled by Him. When we feel pressured by circumstances or overwhelmed by delays, let’s remember that life is not governed by chaotic chance or the agendas of men. It is orchestrated by the loving Creator who makes all things beautiful in His time (Ecc.3:11).

God uses seasons of pressure to manifest His marvellous kindness (vv.16,21) The processing is designed to deepen our revelation of His unfailing love, prepare us to steward the blessings we prayed for, and to preserve us (v.23). Every delay is a protective measure to build spiritual maturity and guard us against premature elevation and predictable downfall. Rather than fighting the delays, we should embrace the hidden seasons, focus on what God is teaching in the "waiting room," and use the time to build spiritual disciplines and deepen our faith. Let’s learn to speak Faith over fear, and actively counter anxious thoughts by meditating on God's track record of faithfulness in our lives.

In Jesus’ precious Name, I declare that:

My times and seasons are securely held in the Hands of the Almighty. Every delay is working for my ultimate good and spiritual maturity.

I receive the grace to trust God's processing and perfecting of all that concerns me. I will not rush His timing, nor faint in the day of processing.

God's unfailing love surrounds me, turning seasons of sighing into seasons of dancing, and preserving me from the traps of the enemy.

God is strengthening my character, expanding my capacity to steward blessings, and writing my testimonies in His perfect time, for His Glory!
