Habakkuk 2: 1-4

For the vision is yet for AN APPOINTED TIME; but at the end it will speak, and it will not lie…” – Habakkuk 2:3a

Our Vision and Mission in life are subject to DIVINE TIMING and PROCESSING: “For the vision is yet for AN APPOINTED TIME; but at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry” (Hab.2:3). While instilling faith and patience, we’re reminded as believers that God’s promises operate on His perfect, divine timetable. When a vision seems delayed, it is not denied; rather, God uses this processing time to strengthen our character, align our circumstances, and perfectly position us for the fulfilment and manifestation. What feels like a delay to us is often God’s way of preparing the blessing for us, and preparing us for the blessing.

First, Habakkuk positioned for the message: "I WILL STAND my watch and SET MYSELF on the rampart" (v.1a). This teaches the need for intentionality. To hear from God regarding His timing, we as believers must detach from worldly distractions and position ourselves spiritually to receive His direction. For clarity, God commanded him to "Write the vision and make it plain..." (v.2). Writing the vision or promise down solidifies faith. It ensures we stay anchored to the original word, allowing us to remain focused during the waiting period. Divine Scheduling follows: "For the vision is yet for an appointed time..." (v.3). The Hebrew word for "appointed time" indicates a precise, strategic season.

God’s timing is never rushed, nor is it ever late. He operates strategically, orchestrating invisible factors for ultimate good. Divine Processing answers to Faith over sight (v.4). The latter part of the passage contrasts pride with faith: "The righteous shall live by his faith." Processing time requires trusting God’s process rather than relying on human senses or our own hurried timelines. We embrace the processing when we realize that waiting is not wasted time; it is God’s training ground. Every delay contains active preparation for what He is about to release. We must avoid hasty shortcuts or attempting to force doors open that God hasn't ordained. Rushing His timing often leads to unnecessary mistakes. We must cultivate an attitude of peace, and choose to actively trust His promises rather than fretting over the delay of our dreams.

In Jesus’ Name, I prophetically decree that:

As I walk by faith in God and Hs Word, I receive the grace to trust the divine process and not miss or step ahead of His perfect timing.

My faith is strengthened as I wait on the Lord. He is perfecting all that concerns me. His Word concerning my life will never prove false.

Every delay working against my destiny is broken. Divine acceleration becomes my portion in life; and my steps are ordered by the Lord.

I arrive on time for my breakthrough. I will not miss my appointed season. What has taken long in the natural will manifest swiftly by the Hand of God. The vision God has given me will speak at the end; it will not lie, but surely come and not tarry.

Our Vision

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
