Bible Meditation:
Psalm 16: 5-11

You will show me the path of life; IN YOUR PRESENCE is fullness of joy; at Your right hand are pleasures forevermore”Psalm 16:11

The Path of Life and Fullness of Joy are discovered in the DIVINE PRESENCE and REST: “You will show me the path of life; IN YOUR PRESENCE is fullness of joy; at Your right hand are pleasures forevermore” (Psa.16:11). True Rest and absolute satisfaction are not found in the absence of problems, but in the fullness of God's Presence. While the world pursues fleeting pleasures and earthly security, we as Believer find all that we need by simply staying close to the Father. We find our joy and resting boundary lines in the Presence of God.

It all begins with God – Possessor of the Sovereign Inheritance – He Who maintains our lot (vv.5-6). Because He is our portion, our boundary lines fall in beautiful, pleasant places, and we have a wonderful heritage. We can rest because our supply is guaranteed by God. Part of His pattern is that God gives night counsel even in the dark seasons of life (vv.7-8) By intentionally setting the Lord always before him, David ensured he would not be shaken or moved by trouble. He testified that God’s closeness ensured a glad heart, rejoicing glory, and a physical body that could rest in absolute safety and hope (v.9). The ultimate result was exemption from corruption and safety from destruction (v.10).

The world offers a culture that is constantly hunting for the next best thing – the next purchase, promotion, or milestone that promises to deliver happiness. Yet, this chase leaves most people spiritually exhausted and emotionally drained. They mistake activity for progress and entertainment for rest. But David discovered Divine Presence and Rest as the profound secret to living an unbothered and unstressed life. In Psalm 16, he looked around at a world chasing after false gods and shifting sorrow, and he made a radical choice, declaring the Lord alone as his inheritance and his cup. He didn’t look to circumstances to make him feel secure; he looked to God, as climaxed in verse 11.

God’s Presence is our ultimate destination as He guides our steps along the path of life. Unfiltered Joy is only found in His Presence, and endless satisfaction is located at His right hand of favour. Fullness of Joy is not a partial, temporary emotional high that fades when bad news arrives. It is a dense, weighty, supernatural joy that anchors the soul into perfect rest. When we make God's Presence our ultimate destination, we stop begging the world to satisfy us. We can rest wholly because our boundary lines have already fallen in pleasant places. Psalm 36:8 says, “They are abundantly satisfied with the fullness of Your house, and You give them drink from the river of Your pleasures.”

In Jesus Name, I declare that:

The Lord is my chosen portion, securely sustaining my future. My boundary lines have fallen in pleasant places; I have a beautiful inheritance.

I set the Lord always before me; therefore, I will never be shaken. My heart is genuinely glad, my soul rejoices, and my body rests in hope.

God is showing me the exact path of life, clearing away all confusion from my steps. In His Presence, I receive fullness of unshakable joy.

At His right hand, I walk in supernatural pleasures and divine favour, totally delivered from the traps of empty hustle, comparison, and stress.

As God holds my hand, I will not see corruption, setback, or decay. I am fully satisfied, thoroughly calmed, resting joyfully in Christ’s Love.

Our Vision

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
