“And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in DUE SEASON we shall reap if we do not lose heart” – Galatians 6:9
GOD has an appointed time – the DUE SEASON – to reward every worthy sacrifice and commitment: “And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in DUE SEASON we shall reap if we do not lose heart” (Gal.6:9). This describes the spiritual rhythm of sowing and reaping. Consistent unwearied obedience leads to a divinely timed harvest. Believers are urged to remain steadfast in faith, trusting that God’s harvest is not a matter of if, but when. Though weariness may tempt us to quit, patient endurance guarantees a supernatural reward at the perfect appointed time. This is the Guarantee of the Due Season – the intersection where our faithful consistency meets God's divine manifestation.
Verse 7 and 8 capture the Principle of Sowing and Reaping, affirming that God cannot be mocked. Whatever we invest our time, energy, and resources into will yield a corresponding harvest. Sowing into the flesh yields corruption, while sowing into the Spirit yields eternal life and spiritual fruit. The apostle warned against weariness, acknowledging that doing good can become physically and emotionally exhausting. However, weariness is a trap. He reminds us that the timeline belongs to God, and our only responsibility is to refuse to give up (v.9).
The "Due Season" is God’s appointed, perfect time. If we do not faint, the harvest is inevitable. We are called to do good to everyone, but especially to fellow believers (v.10). Our windows of opportunity are seasonal. We must maximize every chance to bless others while the window is open. Scriptures consistently highlight God’s appointed time for a reward using the agricultural metaphor of planting and reaping.
Hebrews 10:35-36 encourages us not to cast away our confidence, as it holds great reward. Patience is required to inherit the promise.
James 5:7-8 compares the believer’s waiting to a farmer who waits patiently for the precious fruit of the earth. We must establish our hearts.
1 Corinthians 15:58 assures us that our labour in the Lord is never in vain. We are called to be steadfast and immovable in commitment.
Our harvest is not delayed because God has forgotten us; it is being perfected in the soil of His timing! And, patience is not just the ability to wait, but to keep a good attitude while waiting. Spiritual growth is incremental. Just as a seed spends time growing underground before it breaks the surface, our unseen prayers and acts of obedience are working beneath the surface. Let’s take regular inventory of what we are sowing – our thoughts, words, and actions, and work to actively sow love, kindness, and generosity rather than frustration or selfish desires.
In Jesus’ Name, I boldly declare that:
God is not mocked. I will not grow weary in well-doing, and I will reap the harvest of my faithfulness in due time.
Every seed of love, time, and finance I have sown in secret is answering in the realm of the spirit.
I refuse to give up, cave in, or faint, because my "due season" is guaranteed by the Word of God.
I am steadfast, immovable, and always abounding in the work of the Lord, maximizing every opportunity He gives me to bless my world.
Circumstances do not dictate my joy; I rejoice in the hope of His harvest and step into my due season of divine favour and restorations.

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
