"And there was great joy in that city” – Acts 8:8
GOD can transform not only an individual but an entire City by the DIVINE VISITATION for IMPARTATION: “And there was great joy in that city” (Acts 8:8). A divine visitation is not a casual encounter, but a profound interruption of human limitation by the manifest Presence of God. When the early church faced severe persecution, God used their scattering to bring the Gospel to Samaria. The city, which was formerly bound by sorcery and darkness, became a prime candidate for divine intervention that culminated in city-wide “great joy”!
Philip did not preach human philosophy; he preached Christ (v.5). The miracles validated the message (vv.6-7). When God visits a life or a city, He provides tangible proof of His Power, converting sceptics and removing heavy yokes. When the supernatural is released, chains are broken, demons are cast out, and the sick are healed. This invasion of heaven culminated in a "great joy" that altered the spiritual climate of the city. True joy is not the absence of trouble, but the distinctive Presence of God. Before the visitation, Samaria was plagued by Simon the sorcerer's deception (vv.9-11). The entry of the Gospel instantly shifted the atmosphere from oppression to irrepressible celebration.
There is however a clear difference between hearing the Word, being baptized in water, and receiving the fullness of the Power of the Holy Spirit. Divine Visitation initiates salvation, but the impartation of the Holy Spirit empowers the believer for service and victorious living. Verses 14-17 highlight the necessity of impartation to bridge the limitation of partial experience. Even though the Samaritans had believed, accepted Christ, and were baptized in water, they required the apostolic laying on of hands to receive the infilling of the Holy Spirit (v.16). A believer can have a genuine relationship with God but remain spiritually powerless without the empowerment of the Holy Spirit.
Peter and John’s laying on of hands served as an official recognition of the Samaritans' inclusion in God's Family and spiritual impartation (v.17). The Holy Spirit is sovereign, yet He often uses human vessels to transmit His Power; hence, the need to pursue spiritual depth, value spiritual mentorship and be open to spiritual impartation from trustworthy, mature leaders in the faith. God uses spiritual mentors to release fresh anointing and destiny-decorating blessings into the lives of the yielded, and bring positive shifts in spiritual atmospheres. Our lives and vocations can experience "great joy" as we share the Gospel and demonstrate God's Love. He can turn our trials into triumphant testimonies.
In Jesus’ Name, I declare that:
My season of Divine Visitation for Upliftment has arrived. I receive a fresh impartation of spiritual power and fresh anointing for exploits.
My environment is supernaturally transformed. Every yoke of stagnation and backwardness is destroyed by the anointing of the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit fills every vacuum in my life and grants me total victory over the adversaries of my soul. My life, family, and career are overflowing with the "great joy" of the Holy Spirit.
I am empowered to share the Gospel with boldness, and signs and wonders shall follow my testimony, bringing Glory to God and drawing multitudes to His Kingdom.

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
