THE WORD OF FAITH

But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the WORD of FAITH, which we preach – Romans 10:8

This is our 30th day of exploring the Frontiers of Faith, as we breast the tape into March, our Month of Mercy and Favour! We have seen that Faith is first, fundamental and foundational. Faith is a Kingdom asset for destiny fulfilment. Faith ushers us into our glorious destiny. Faith secures for us the Mercy and Favour of God. The subject of faith is prime and crucial. As believers, we must be well-grounded in the WORD of FAITH. Our lives cannot be founded on fables, fantasies, figments of human imagination or fickle feelings. We need the WORD of FAITH!

Romans 10:8 echoes Deuteronomy 30:14: “But the word is very nigh unto thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart, that thou mayest do it.” This referred to the revealed commandment or Law of the Lord as at the time of Moses. In this era of the New Testament, the centrality of God’s command is encapsulated in the Word of Faith.

The Word of God is the Word of Faith. God is a God of Faith. When He speaks, His Word carries and communicates faith. When God’s Word is released and received, His faith is imparted to anyone who receives the Word. The God of Faith and Possibilities will never speak to impart doubt, fear, timidity, weakness or unbelief, because they are not consistent with His character. With God, all things are possible (Matt.19:26; Mk.10:27). God speaks possibilities and calls forth the true realities. No matter the situation, as long as things do not agree with His Word and Will, Almighty God will never say “It is impossible”!

In this day and age when the world is filled with messages of doubt and voices of fear, we can choose to always hear from God, and His Word will always produce faith in us as we hear, receive and meditate on it. The Word of Faith will always assure us that all things are possible to the believer and that God in us has the final say over every situation. The Word of Faith calms and stills every storm of life. The Word of Faith dissolves doubt, dispels unbelief and lifts the believer above the raging tempests of time. The Word of Faith silences every worldly noise and demonic voice. The Word of Faith prepares your heart to receive direction, encouragement, instructions and the Solutions of Wisdom to the challenges of life. The Word of Faith is not confusing or subjective, but absolute, firm, unwavering in its doubt-dissolving and direction-providing power. The Word of Faith illuminates dark paths and elevates stooping souls. When men are cast down, the Word of Faith declares: “There is Lifting up…” (Job.22:29).
