Bible Meditation:
Psalm 22: 1-11

But You are He who took Me out of the WOMB; You made Me trust while on My mother’s breasts”Psalm 22:9

The Almighty God alone can unravel the mysteries and WONDERS of the WOMB: “But You are He who took Me out of the WOMB; You made Me trust while on My mother’s breasts. I was cast upon You from birth. From My mother’s womb You have been My God” (Psa.22: 9-10). Psalm 22 captures the Messiah’s words in His Suffering. They depict the internal battle on one with the sense of divine absence, but also of Hope, that He who kept us in the womb will also sustain us in the world!

When God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam and made from his rib a Woman, what God made was a womb-man or “man with a womb”! The womb is God’s beautiful gift to women. He uniquely designed their entire reproductive cycle: menstruation, ovulation, conception, gestation, parturition and lactation. God prepared every female for motherhood right from their mother’s womb. The girl child already has over a million eggs, prepared and waiting for the destiny of motherhood. Every womb is worthy of protection against the unprecedented satanic attack that has been from the beginning of time when God declared: "And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her Seed…” (Gen.3:15).

The womb is a place of life. Adam named his wife, Eve, which in Hebrew means “The Life Giver”! The woman is privileged to conceive, nurture, and bring forth a miracle of life from within the womb. With the womb as a major instrument, God empowered humanity to “be fruitful and multiply” (Gen.1:28). Satan hates the womb. He knew that the Messiah, the Saviour of the world, would come through the womb of a woman, and would destroy his head. He knows it is through the womb of the woman that the “godly seed” still comes to destroy his works. Satan comes to "steal, kill and destroy." His attack is upon the womb through vices such as: abortion, drugs, sexual promiscuity and perversions, and rape. In contrast, God wants to bless us “with the blessings of the breasts and of the womb” (Gen.49:25).

God has power to shut and to open wombs: “the LORD had closed up all the wombs of the house of Abimelech because of Sarah, Abraham’s wife” (Gen.20:18). He empowered Sarah to conceive at an advanced age despite the deadness of her womb (Rom.4:19). God opened the womb of Leah (Gen.29:31). Later, He remembered Rachel and opened her womb to conceive and bear a son (Gen.30: 22-23). God determines which womb would be fruitful or barren. He alone can bless with “the fruit of the womb” (Psa.127:3). Otherwise, “As for Ephraim, their glory will fly away like a bird – No birth, no pregnancy, and no conception!” (Hos.9:11). Medical science cannot fully explain how a woman conceives and carries a pregnancy for months – a life inside another, or why some embryos are “carried from womb to tomb” (Job 10:19).

When the Lord answered Isaac’s prayer for Rebekah and she conceived, God spoke of a War in her womb: “two nations are in your womb; and two peoples will be separated from your body” (Gen.25:23a). Destinies are defined from the womb! David testified: “For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in MY MOTHER’S WOMB. I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; marvelous are Your works, and that my soul knows very well. My frame was not hidden from You, when I was made in secret, and skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth (Psa.139:13-16).

Perhaps the most illustrative scripture on the Wonders of the Womb was the encounter between the babies in the wombs of Elizabeth and Mary: “When Elizabeth heard Mary’s greeting, the BABY LEAPED IN HER WOMB; and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit. And she cried out with a loud voice and said, “Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the FRUIT of YOUR WOMB! And how has it happened to me, that the mother of my Lord would come to me?” (Lk.1: 41-45).

Our Vision

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
