“YOUR FAITHFULNESS ENDURES to all generations; You established the earth, and it abides” – Psalm 119:90
The WONDERS of GOD’S FAITHFULNESS reside in its enduring, transgenerational capacity: “Forever, O Lord, Your word is settled in heaven. Your faithfulness endures to all generations; You established the earth, and it abides” (Psa.119: 89-90). From childhood, many people have heard, read, or known about the faithfulness of God. We’ve also sung about His faithfulness in such classics like, “Great is Thy Faithfulness” in hymnals. Sometimes however, it just doesn’t feel like God is being faithful. When life knocks the breath out of us and we have to deal with its unsettling challenges, we tend to doubt His faithfulness. In moments when we grow weary and tired as we wait for God to come through for us, we need to be reminded of some great truths that affirm God’s faithful nature.
God is Faithful from generation to generation: faithful to our ancestors, to us, and will be to our successors (Psa.119:90a). He is always and forever faithful! Here are seven scriptural nuggets that affirm that God is faithful and absolutely trustworthy:
God is Faithful to His Promises: “You are faithful to your promises, O my God” (Psa.71:22, NLT). Here, the Psalmist recounted a lifetime of God’s faithfulness. From the time he was young until old age, God had helped him, saved him, given him hope, and been his strength and protection: “For You are my hope, O Lord God; You are my trust from my youth. By You I have been upheld from birth; You are He who took me out of my mother’s womb. My praise shall be continually of You. I have become as a wonder to many, but You are my strong refuge” (Psa.71:5-7). He was therefore encouraged to request of the Lord: “Do not cast me off in the time of old age; do not forsake me when my strength fails” (Psa.71:9). God is faithful!
God is Faithful in All Things: “O Lord God of hosts, who is mighty like You, O Lord? Your faithfulness also surrounds You” (Psa.89:8). This means that God is faithful from every angle and every vantage point. He is completely faithful in all things. If we are in doubt about some issue in life, we should simply invite the Lord to give us a bigger picture of His ever-supporting foundation of faithfulness!
God is Faithful to Answer Prayers: “Hear my prayer, O Lord, give ear to my supplications! In Your faithfulness answer me, and in Your righteousness” (Psa.143:1). Here, David was appealing to God in prayer, asking Him to “give ear” to his supplication. He based his appeal on God’s Character – His Faithfulness and Righteousness. As God’s children, we can do the same thing: take our prayers to God and appeal to Him based on His Character, and He’ll answer us.
God is Faithful to our Christian Calling: “God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord” (1Cor.1:9). No matter how often the enemy tries to throw in the spanner of doubt, the Bible reminds us consistently that our God is completely faithful, dependable, reliable, totally trustworthy, and ever true to His promises.
God’s Faithfulness is Great: “Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness” (Lam.3:22-23).
God is Faithful to Forgive and Cleanse: “If we confess our sins, HE is FAITHFUL and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness” (1Jh.1:9). The eternal Saviour, Redeemer, and Rescuer will never leave the sinner in the pit of sin or dungeon of iniquity, except he or she chooses to remain there.
God is absolutely faithful despite our faithlessness: “This is a faithful saying: For if we died with Him, we shall also live with Him. If we endure, we shall also reign with Him. If we deny Him, He also will deny us. If we are faithless, He remains faithful; He cannot deny Himself” (2Tim.2:11-13). People can change, but God never changes: “He is the same yesterday, and today, and forever” (Heb.13:8b). God is ever-faithful, ever-sure!

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
