Bible Meditation:
Psalm 34: 1-10

“Oh, taste and see that the Lord is GOOD; blessed is the man who trusts in Him! – Psalm 34:8

For all who believe, GOD has prepared a good and WONDERFUL LIFE in CHRIST: “Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the man who trusts in Him! (Psa.34:8). Life is worth living because God is good and kind, and God is love! He’s our loving heavenly Father who, long before we came on the scene, prepared a wonderful and exciting life for us – of success, victory, peace and prosperity. Our Lord Jesus says: “I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly” (Jh.10:10b); “rich and satisfying life” (NLT). God didn’t create us to struggle our way through life. He planned a wonderful life for us: “who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ” (Eph.1:3b).

When God was to form Adam, He first created a beautiful garden where everything Adam would require was made available. Then He put Adam in the garden to inhabit it and enjoy the goodness therein (Gen.2: 10-15). God brought us forth at such a time as this, and planned ahead for us like every caring father would. Therefore, we should always acknowledge and profess in agreement with God that, we’re the blessed and favoured of the Lord, walking in preordained pathways of fruitfulness, greatness, and productivity. We must rediscover the Joy and blessings of wonderful daily living, rooted in God’s Word, and our faith in Christ, who truly gives us a wonderful life through His birth among us, and death and resurrection for us!

The Lord cares so much for us, up to the strands of hair on our heads: “Are not two sparrows sold for a copper coin? And one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father’s will. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows” (Mt. 10:29-31). That’s why God doesn’t want us worried or fretful over anything in life. He’s aware we need money, clothing, food, shelter and all the necessities of life, and has already made them ours. He says: “… All things are yours” (1Cor.3:21). We must believe and accept this to be true. God has truly made everything we’ll ever require for a victorious and fulfilling life available to us in Christ Jesus. Indeed, He’s gracious and kind.

John 1:9 says, “That was the true Light which gives light to every man coming into the world.” If Jesus had never come into the world; if He had never been born; if God had not given His only Son to offer salvation to every person; there would be no disciples, miracles, Christians, Church, salvation by grace through faith, and no eternal Life. We would have no hope, no help, and no redemption. We would be stuck in a chaotic, selfish, sinful world, dead in trespasses and sins, following the way of this world and of the prince of the power of the air – the devil (Eph. 2:1-2). Our nature would have remained the same – children of wrath. There would be no opportunity to become right with God, to become children of God.

In Christ, we’re delivered from all our fears and saved from all our troubles (v.4,6).

We look to Him and are radiant and our faces are not ashamed (v.5).

We’ve tasted and seen that the Lord is good and we’re blessed to trust in Him (v.8).

There is no want or lack of any good thing, to us who fear God (vv.9-10).

In Christ, I am a new creature, called to inherit blessings, empowered to prosper in all things! I’m chosen and ordained for a life of praise, joy, excellence, victory and glory in Christ: “But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light (1Pet.2:9). We’re ordained as conveyors of God’s blessings and fragrance of His Glory. Jesus Christ is the Wonderful Life!

Our Vision

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
