Bible Meditation:
Psalm 8: 1-9

“You have made him to have DOMINION over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet” – Psalm 8:6

To WALK AS GOD WALKS is to WALK in DOMINION: You have made him to have DOMINION over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet (Psa.8:6). God exercises Dominion over all of His creation and the entirety of the Universe. Dominion is a Kingdom word; a vocabulary of royalty and language of authority. Without a kingdom; there is no king. And without a king, there is no dominion. Kingdom signifies the king’s domain; the area or territory over which a king has and exercises authority. Dominion is the Function of a King. It describes the exercise of a king’s authority within his domain. It’s important from onset to differentiate Dominion from Domination. Dominion drives a Commission; domination is about subjection and subjugation of others!

Dominion was at the core of human creation: “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have DOMINION over...” (Gen.1: 26-28). The Word of Dominion preceded and succeeded humanity’s creation. An atmosphere of dominion saturated Eden until the entrance of sin and the fall. In Christ however, the mandate of dominion that was lost in Adam has been restored (Rom.5:17). Believers in Christ are now repositioned through redemption by His Blood (Eph.1:7). The Believer’s possession of Dominion involves both the right (authority) and the power (anointing), as well as the ability to exercise both. God empowers and expects us to manifest dominion, as we think, talk, and reign in life.

Walking in Dominion demands that we realise our exalted Position in Christ Who has, “raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus” (Eph.5:6). On Calvary’s Cross, Jesus overcame the world and gave us the power to prevail over, tame and conquer forces of darkness, elements of this world and circumstances of life! Every child of God can operate in dominion! The Lord gave Peter the keys of the kingdom, assuring that, “the gates of hell shall not prevail” (Mt.16:18). Greater is God in me than the devil and his agents that are in the world (1Jh.4:4). When we understand from God’s Word, the power we have as His children, we will no longer fret, be doubtful, fearful or lose our peace of mind no matter what is happening.

“For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world – our faith” (1Jh.5:4). We’re born of God. Our origin is divine. We can tread in dominion over Sin, Satan, the world, and “all the power of the enemy” (Lk.10:19). We are established in righteousness, and far from oppression, fear, and terror (Isa.54:14). Daniel excelled as a Model of Dominion, fulfilling life’s purpose in a strange land, Babylon (Dan.6:3). He dared to be distinct in an era of conformity with unrighteousness. He determined to be counted for purity and prayer, in a system saturated with corruption, worldliness, and iniquity (Dan.1:8).

Standing firm on the Word of God, we are well founded to Walk in Dominion: “Now thanks be to God, who causes us to triumph in Christ…” (2Cor.2:14). The Centurion understood the power of dominion when he said to Jesus, “…But only SPEAK a WORD, and my servant will be healed. For I also am a man under authority, having soldiers under me. And I say to this one, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and to another, ‘Come,’ and he comes; and to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it” (Mt.8:8b-9). As God’s children, power follows our Decrees. We must never be intimidated by the devil or pushed into a corner. Rather, we must tell the devil: Enough is enough!

Beloved, please declare with me: Whatever the enemy has prepared or packaged against my destiny is terminated. Christ has broken every yoke off our neck, and burst all bondages asunder. Every demonic kingdom resisting God’s dominion in our lives is crushed and consumed (Jer.30:8). I’m unstoppable and unconquerable, born into the glory-life, reigning victoriously on every count!

Prayer:
Lord, empower us to WALK as YOU WALK – in Dominion over Sin, Satan, the world, and all the power of the enemy, in Jesus’ name.

Our Vision

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
