Bible Meditation:
Acts 3: 1-10

“So he, leaping up, stood and walked and entered the temple with them – walking, leaping, and praise God” – Acts 3:8

The lame man at the Beautiful Gate encountered Divine VISITATION for UPLIFTMENT: “So he, leaping up, stood and walked and entered the temple with them – walking, leaping, and praise God” (Acts 3:8). A divine visitation is a transformative encounter where God’s Presence intercepts human limitations for a change of status and story. The lame man in our meditation passage, experienced a sudden upliftment from his ‘ugly’ state at the Beautiful Gate. God visits to replace delay with acceleration, and begging with testimonies of glory.

God steps into and interrupts ordinary, daily routines to orchestrate supernatural shifts, and terminate stagnancy. The routine of begging was interrupted to usher the man into a fresh and dynamic phase of life. Peter’s assertion – “Silver and gold have I none...” – affirms the superiority of spiritual wealth over materialism (v.6). True upliftment is not primarily financial; it is the release of Divine Power that money cannot buy. The miracle occurred by the power in the Name of Jesus – the ultimate key to breaking long-standing yokes of stagnation.

Accompanying the Name was the partnership of Faith: Peter took the lame man by the right hand and lifted him up (v.7). Divine Visitation requires a corresponding act of faith and a willingness to be lifted out of one’s comfort zone. This led to the miracle of Upliftment, marked by instant strength, transformed posture, radical enthusiasm, and high-spirited Worship (v.8). There was no interval of physical therapy; his feet and ankle bones received immediate strength – proof of a total and miraculous turnaround. The man went from sitting helplessly to standing. He was no longer looking up at people from the ground, but standing tall in his new identity.

This recipient of the miraculous did not just walk, he leaped – a spontaneous, physical expression of joy and swift elevation. Worship was his ultimate response! His first instinct was to enter the temple courts and praise God. Upliftment should always lead to a deeper, unashamed worship. To encounter the miraculous, we need a change of focus from people or circumstances, and direct our gaze to God. As He elevates us, we’re to respond with gratitude and joyful praise rather than going back to a life of silent routine or returning to the “gate” of begging and stagnation. We must choose to walk in Victory, stepping forward boldly into a New Season of Liberty!

Just as the disciples aided the cripple to regain human dignity, we can be conduits of hope and empowerment to others in need.

Therefore, in Jesus’ Name, I decree that:

I am a prime candidate for divine visitation; seasons of delay are over. Every long-standing limitation in my life is instantly broken.

My feet and ankles of faith receive supernatural strength today. I receive divine acceleration; where I have crawled, I will now run and leap.

I am lifted out of the valley of stagnation to the mountain of Victory. My story has changed; my name is mentioned for Favour and Honour.

Every negative verdict passed over my destiny is reversed. My life will perpetually glorify God as I walk, leap, and praise Him for my elevation.

Our Vision

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
