2 King 6: 14-23

“And Elisha prayed, and said, “Lord, OPEN HIS EYES that he may SEE.” – 2 Kings 6:17a

Motivation, motion, promotion, and provisions are powerful products of Divine VISION for IMPACT: “And Elisha prayed, and said, “Lord, OPEN HIS EYES that he may SEE.” Then the Lord opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw. And behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariot of fire all around Elisha” (2 Kgs.6:17). The king of Syria laid a sudden siege against Elisha the prophet: “He sent horses and chariots and a great army there, and they came by night and surrounded the city” (v.14). Seeing the massive army, Elisha’s servant had reasons to be fearful: “Alas, my master! What shall we do?” (v.15b).

However, God’s Man of Vision was calm and unperturbed, saying: “Do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them” (v.16). He simply prayed for God to open the eyes of his servant, and God did. In that instance, like a veil uncovered from the young man’s spiritual eyes, the hitherto visionless servant saw with vibrant vividness the vast visitation of the heavenly host surrounding their camp. His fear took flight. Faith came to the fore. The Vision of Victory was awakened!

A clear Vision is the fuel for motivation, motion, promotion, and provisions in life. Vision is the key driver of a person’s life. One is most encouraged when Vision is in place. Life is a burden when there is no vision. One who sees the road clearer will run faster. The lives of people who lack vision are often retarded and truncated: “Where there is no vision, the people perish” (Pro.29:18a, kjv). Living without vision is having time without meaning. It’s having time without knowing what to do with it. Life without Vision equals age without change! When there is no vision, there is no enthusiasm or zeal to pursue anything in life.

Vision gives direction. Vision is the key to a Life of Focus: “The lamp of the body is the eye. If therefore your eye is good, your whole body will be full of light” (Matt.6:22). In essence, life without vision can be easily buried in distraction. If one does not know where one is going in life, every road will appear to be the right road – which is a recipe for confusion and destruction! Without Vision, people lose courage and motivation – even believers. Without Vision, life is stagnant and void of meaning. A person without Vision is worse than a person without physical sight. People without vision will be slaves to their circumstances.

God’s solution for a confused, distracted, defeated, disappointed, and discouraged life is not to inject us with feeling, but to fill us with Vision! The essence of Vision is to see farther than our eyes can look; seeing the future before it comes into being. Motivation, motion, promotion, and provisions follow the Divine Vision for a Life of Impact.

Our Vision

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
