Bible Meditation:
Ezekiel 34: 23-31

“...and I will cause showers to come down in their season; there shall be SHOWERS of BLESSING” – Ezekiel 34:26b

The God of Restoration releases SHOWERS of BLESSING: "I will make them and the places all around My hill a blessing; and I will cause showers to come down in their season; there shall be SHOWERS of BLESSING” (Ezek.34:26). Here, He spoke to a displaced, exploited, and scattered flock of Israel, delivering a profound promise of a true Shepherd bringing security and abundance. The people had suffered under corrupt leadership and devastating exile. In this dark hour, God intervened with a covenant of peace, promising a total turnaround. When He sends showers of blessing, He doesn't just damp the surface; He saturates the soils of our destinies until every hidden seed grows!

"Showers of blessing" is an agrarian metaphor for a season of refreshing. In ancient Israel, rain after a long drought transformed dry ground overnight, symbolizing how God's sudden visitation revives stagnant situations. Verse 26 captures the heart of Divine Restoration through Divine Performance. The "showers" represent more than just physical rain; they signify the overwhelming, torrential outpouring of God’s Favour, Mercy, and Supernatural Provision. In an agrarian society, rain meant life, fruitfulness, and the end of famine. By declaring His release of showers in season, God revealed that restoration is a deliberate, timely act of His Sovereignty.

For us who believe, God is transforming His people from victims of drought into recipients of His blessing, breaking chains of bondage so we can walk securely. A divine shower does not depend on the weather forecast of our economy; it depends entirely on the faithfulness of our Sovereign God. To position ourselves beneath the downpour of God’s restorative Showers of Blessing, we must apply these truths:

Position near the Hill: God promises to make the places surrounding His hill a blessing. We can stay closely connected to His Presence through consistent prayer and fellowship.

Break the Yoke Mentality: Verse 27 mentions breaking the bars of the yoke. This infers that we refuse to think like a slave to our past circumstances, and adopt the mindset of a child of the King.

Release the Fear of Famine: Trusting that God's performance is tied to His timing, even if our current season looks dry, we can prepare our grounds because the clouds are heavy with rain.

In Jesus’ Name, I affirm that:

Seasons of spiritual, financial, and relational drought are permanently over. God has broken every yoke of limitation off my shoulders.

Rains of favour fall upon my entire life; heavy yokes of stagnation are broken for me to walk in absolute freedom, liberty, and abundance.

The windows of heaven are open over my life, releasing showers of blessing. Heavy downpours of favour are saturating all areas of my life.

The ground of my life yields its increase. My trees bear great fruits. I am no longer a prey to lack, anxiety, or delay; I walk in divine security.

I step out of the scarcity mindset into the reality of God's overflowing restoration. Disappointment has given way to times of refreshing.

I am surrounded by the peace of God, and no devourer can touch my harvest. By heaven’s decree, my life is becoming a visible blessing.

Our Vision

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
