Bible Meditation:
Psalm 102: 12-22

“You will arise and have mercy on Zion; for the TIME to FAVOR her, Yes, the SET TIME, has come" – Psalm 102:13

As Believers, our hearts must be aligned with the Divine Calendar if we are to recognize and appropriate God’s SET TIME of FAVOUR: “You will arise and have mercy on Zion; for the TIME to FAVOR her, Yes, the SET TIME, has come" (Psa.102:13). God is sovereign and can bring turnarounds in the midst of afflictions. When the psalmist felt utterly broken, he quickly shifted his gaze to God’s unchanging Nature. Even if our personal seasons appear gloomy, God is forever enthroned. Our key meditation verse reveals that Mercy precedes Favour (v.13). Before God releases the extraordinary, undeserved blessings called Favour, His Mercy overlooks our flaws and clears the path. When we come boldly to His Throne of Grace, we will “obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need” (Heb.4:16).

God’s steadfast mercies never cease and are a prerequisite for new seasons of favour (Lam.3:22-23). He hears and does not despise the cries of the destitute. He hears “the groaning of the prisoner, to release those appointed to death” (vv. 17-20). God pays close attention to the desperate prayers of those who are helpless and trapped. His favour brings immediate freedom and providential rescue to those feeling condemned. This produces generational impact (vv.21-22). When God’s Favour flows, it creates a powerful testimony. His lifting in our lives will cause others to hear the name of the Lord in Zion and assemble to worship Him in Jerusalem. Such was the living testimony of Esther: God turned her outwardly unscheduled ‘turn’ into His Set Time. His Favour replaced her background with global influence (Est.2:15).

Our background does not matter when the set time of divine elevation arrives! Also, an hour of God’s favour is worth more than a lifetime of labour without it! We’re therefore encouraged to remain joyful in hope, patient in affliction, and faithful in prayer while waiting for God's set time (Rom.12:12). Just as the psalmist looked away from his private tragedies to focus on God's collective, victorious redemption, we can choose to change our narrative, and look at life through the lens of His promises. We can develop and sustain an attitude of expectant faith and be ready for His unscheduled, sudden moves by living a life that reflects faith and deep relationship. This is evidenced as we praise Him in advance, trusting and thanking Him Who regards the prayer of the destitute, for the turnaround before we physically experience it.

In Jesus’ Name, I declare that:

This is my set time for favour, and the Lord has arisen to show me mercy. God is restoring all that the enemy has stolen from me.

The Lord is opening great doors of opportunity that no man can shut. I step out today surrounded by the shield of His Divine Favour.

God is transforming seasons of hardship into Seasons of Joy and Celebration, as my circumstances bow to His Supernatural Favour.

I am a candidate for sudden miracles, blessings, promotions, and breakthroughs, as Divine Connections and Helpers of Destiny locate me.

My life is a testimony, and my story will make others fear and praise the Name of the Lord.

Our Vision

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
