THE PRIMACY OF POWER

And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have DOMINION over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth – Genesis 1:28

Today we commence a Prophetic Adventure into the realms of POWER, covering the month of May – our month of Divine EMPOWERMENT for EXPLOITS – right to the end of June, by the Grace of God. Tighten your ‘spiritual seat-belt’ and engage your ‘faith-suit’ as we soar into the rarely charted realms of Power by the Word and the Spirit of God.

Genesis 1 illustrates the POWER of GOD in creation and the DELEGATION of DOMINION (an aspect of the Divine Power) to the first Couple. Man was created with the capacity to perform, to be in charge, in command and in control, under God’s Leadership. Through Man’s disobedience and the entrance of Sin in Eden, humanity fell from the original PEDESTAL of POWER; but redemption through our Lord Jesus Christ reconnects us to the Eternal Source of All Power – Almighty God.

POWER is meant for PERFORMANCE! God’s Power was involved in performing every work of creation. He still upholds “all things by the Word of His Power” (Heb.1:3). He also displayed His Power all through the Old and New Testaments either directly or indirectly through angelic and human vessels. The NEED for POWER is therefore an intrinsic need in every human being. Power comes in diverse dimensions and operates at different levels. Human beings have a desire to experience POWER, in one form or the other. Everyone needs to know or at least feel that at some point in life, they have some measure of power over the moment. The world is also pervaded with the abuse and misuse of various forms of power.

“God hath spoken once; twice have I heard this; that POWER belongeth unto God” (Psa.62:11). Since ALL POWER belongs to God, every other Power is therefore delegated and meant to be connected to PURPOSE. Moreover, there is an out-law cast down from heaven – Lucifer, who became Satan – with corrupted versions of Power. This makes the Question of Power even more complicated! But, the Wisdom of the Lord will guide us into the working understanding and intimate experience of Divine Empowerment, in order to accomplish every Exploit ordained for us in destiny!
