“Oh, clap your hands, all you peoples! Shout to God with the VOICE of TRIUMPH!” – Psalm 47:1
More Good News for every Believer in Christ: You can PRAY YOUR WAY TO VICTORY: “Oh, clap your hands, all you peoples! Shout to God with the VOICE of TRIUMPH!” (Psa.47:1). God’s plan for you is Victory! If you have been experiencing defeat, discouragement, depression, and hopelessness, there is the answer in the Word of God – PRAISE! The secret to Victory is to change what is coming out of your mouth. You can praise your way to Victory!
Psalm 8:2 says, “Out of the mouth of babes and nursing infants You have ordained strength, because of Your enemies, that You may silence the enemy and the avenger.” When Jesus quoted this scripture, the New Testament uses the words “perfected praise” instead of “ordained strength” (Mt. 21:16). This tells us that our praise will keep the devil’s lips shut and also cause him to flee. And the great news is that even baby Christians can exercise this authority and have victory over the devil. Jesus procured the Victory when He died for our sins, rose again, and ascended far above all principalities and powers: “And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it” (Col. 2:15). Now we can get on the victory train by first receiving Christ and then praising God for all He is and has done.
Victory is our right by redemption: “But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ” (1Cor.15:57). Again, “Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place” (2Cor.2:14). Praise is a key that guarantees and gives victory. Praise is the Voice of Triumph (Psa.47:1). Those who praise God join the victory train. Those who murmur and complain go down to defeat.
Praise guarantees Victory over Depression: “The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me, because the Lord has anointed Me to preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound…to comfort all who mourn, to console those who mourn in Zion, to give them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they may be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified” (Isa.61:1-3). Through Praise, ashes bow to beauty, and mourning melts at the presence of the oil of Joy. The spirit of heaviness gives way to the garment of Praise!
The devil can only defeat you if he can defeat you in your mind: “For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ” (2 Cor. 10:3-5). Praise is a garment meant for your mind; you must choose to put it on. You can always find something to complain about; but negative confessions, murmuring and complaining only empower the devil. Praise, on the other hand, releases the Power and Presence of God. Praise is agreeing with the truth, and the truth will set you free.
Are you facing a challenge or even a crisis? God has given you the garment of Praise, but you must put it on. We all have much to be thankful for; starting with our salvation and everything that God has done for us through Christ. Nothing will prepare us for battle and victory like praise. Through praise, you will confuse the devil. His opposition is an opportunity for you to be blessed and promoted. Seek God’s face, dig into His Word, and stand by faith on His promises. Express your faith through Praise and get ready to receive His Victory! You will enjoy God beyond bounds, as you praise Him every day!

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
