Bible Meditation:
Psalm 18: 28-36

IT IS GOD WHO ARMS ME with STRENGTH, and makes my way perfectPsalm 18:32

GOD is the Source of our Strength and of the POWER for PERFORMANCE: IT IS GOD WHO ARMS ME with STRENGTH, and makes my way perfect (Psa.18:32). In addition to supplying us with His Strength, He perfects and secures our way! He actively equips us for life's battles and protects our path. Our ability to perform confidently comes directly from His Divine Deployment. In life’s journeys, we are often faced with seemingly insurmountable obstacles – walls too high to climb, troops too numerous to fight, and paths too dangerous to walk alone. David penned this song of victory after God delivered him from his enemies. He recognized that his successes were not due to his own prowess, but to the backing by divine power. Similarly, God is committed to equipping us for divine performance in all of life’s battles!

Victory always begins with “Light” – Divine Illumination in Darkness: For You will light my lamp; the Lord my God will enlighten my darkness” (v.28). When life feels dark or confusing, God lights the lamp of the believer. He turns despair into hope and provides clarity, enabling us to “run against a troop” and “leap over a wall” (v.29). His Way is perfect, and His Word is proven (v.30). Therefore, taking refuge in Him is not just spiritual rhetoric; it is a secure strategy for Victory against overwhelming odds (v.31). These form the basis of our Divine Empowerment. The Hebrew imagery in verse 32 speaks of being girded with power. God does not just give us a boost; He clothes us with the strength of a warrior and smoothens our journey, removing obstacles to make our way fruitful and faultless.

God sustains His Strength in us with Stability and Elevation: “He makes my feet like the feet of deer, and sets me on my high places” (v.33). He provides sure-footedness on slippery, hazardous terrains, so we can stand securely on the “heights" of authority and victory. However, God doesn’t just do the fighting, He trains us for spiritual warfare! He trains our hands to war and gives us the skill to bend a “bow of bronze” – a feat requiring supernatural strength. His salvation is our shield, and His "gentleness" makes us great (vv.34-35). Ultimately, He enlarges our path, provides ample room for our steps, and ensures our ankles do not give way, guaranteeing sustained, steady progress (v.36).

In Jesus’ Name, I decree that:

The Lord lights my lamp and turns all darkness into light before me. My path is made perfect and my way is secure in the Lord.

I am empowered with Strength for peak performance. I have the agility to navigate difficult terrains and the stability to stand on life’s heights.

My hands are trained for triumph in spiritual warfare. I am equipped to bend a bow of bronze; I can handle greater responsibilities.

I break through every barrier and surmount every opposing wall. My feet shall not slip, for God has enlarged the path underneath me.

I am shielded by His Salvation and supported by His right hand. His gentleness is making me great and elevating me to greater heights.

Our Vision

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
