“This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night” – Joshua 1:8a
Believers need to learn how to activate and engage the POWER of GOD’S WORD for IMPACT: “This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success” (Jos.1:8). In preparing Joshua to take over the leadership position that Moses had vacated, God highlighted the process of activating the Power of His Word.
To access and command God’s possibilities, first, we must identify the human limitations, embargoes, and restrictions confronting us in life. Second, we must identify His promises concerning those challenging aspects of life, locating what He has said concerning life’s trials. The third step is to enforce the promises of God in His Word over the seeming impossibilities and barriers through the instrumentality of aggressive spiritual warfare. We use God’s Word to annul and revoke every evil law hanging upon any area of our life and destiny, silencing the enemy's voice with the invincible Voice of God (Psa.29:1-6).
Basic to this process of consistent engagement are: reading, reflection, meditation, confession, and Spirit-led application.
Daily Reading of the Word should be a regular practice, like brushing our teeth or having breakfast!
Reflection on the meaning and application of what we’ve read should follow every opportunity of reading the scripture.
Meditation on the Word implies pondering its meaning and implications to life (Psa.1:2). Meditation goes beyond mere reading; it’s about soaking in the text, reflecting on its truths, and allowing it to mold and shape our thoughts, feelings, and actions.
Confessing God’s Word involves declaring it over ourselves and our circumstances, aligning our speech with His promises. We keep declaring what God’s Word has said concerning those areas of our life against contradictory evidence of the senses. We also confess the Word when we share encouraging scriptures with others within and beyond our circles of influence.
Obedient Application of the Word is the ultimate form of engagement: “observe to do according to all that is written in it.” This implies looking for openings to apply the principles and promises we’ve learned from the Word in daily life. It demands trusting God’s promises and actively choosing to respond to situations with faith and courage, just as the Lord instructed Joshua. When we obey God’s Word, we are empowered to experience His promises and partake of His blessings. Finally, we must begin to thank God for life’s challenges, rejoicing and celebrating His Faithfulness in overcoming Satan’s wickedness.

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
