OVERFLOWING JOY

Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord – Ephesians 5:19

Joy is spiritual and supernatural. Joy is a force of the Spirit. There is a Core in the Heart of the Almighty God, from where the Force of Joy flows. This core is the source of every supernatural release, the very essence of divine life – Zoe! When you touch this Core in the Heart of Divinity, you enter into the Overcomer’s realm, where you are no longer subject to boredom, depression, disappointment, or discouragement. This is the fountain of what Peter calls “Joy unspeakable, full of Glory”!

How can you access and touch this core? This is the secret of Joy: DIVINE ADDICTION – the “Seek ye first” spirit! “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you” (Mt.6:33). When you are addicted to JESUS, “drugged” and drunk on God’s, and “sold out” to the LORD, His Joy will embrace and overwhelm you! This was the secret of David’s unceasing life of worship and praise from where the psalms, hymns and spiritual songs freely flowed. It was the source of Paul’s strength for the enduring journey of life and ministry.

Ephesians 5:18-20 describes the disposition of a person of Joy that is full of the Holy Spirit: “And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit; Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord. Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.” It is a lively lifestyle of exuberant praise, enthusiastic singing, and vibrant thanksgiving.

Beloved, Joy is the supernatural product of being addicted to God’s Word, Worship, and Ways; and being aligned to His lifestyle of dynamism and dominion. Get connected to the Core of the Father’s Heart. Rise up to display and demonstrate the lifestyle of overflowing Joy to your world, and bring glory to your God!
