Bible Meditation:
Romans 8: 26-39

Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us – Romans 8:37

Dr Yonggi Cho in the book ‘Solving Life’s Problems’ affirmed that the foundation for true happiness is a combination of three components: Purpose, Peace, and Love. This reaffirms the Primacy of Peace in fulfilling destiny. There are however three enemies of peace that must be overcome: the Boundaries of Limitations, the Bondage of Guilt and the Murk of Meaninglessness.

Human life is full of limitations; and limitations are liabilities. We live under the limits of our senses, of time, of space, and of unpredictable futures. These boundaries often bring to us a nagging sense of uneasiness, a gnawing discomfort that teeters on the edge of consciousness. This disease of uneasiness is crippling to one’s peace of mind.

There is the bondage of guilt…of sin (commission and omission), errors, mistakes, and wrong decisions. These tend to bind us in condemnation, sapping our strength, like little foxes that spoil the grapes of happiness. The murk of meaninglessness manifests when we are unable to understand or experience meaning in life. Circumstances such as getting fired from a job, losing a loved one, and even growing old often raise queries in our minds and cause us to grow anxious, fearful, nervous, uneasy, and unending tension.

Peace of mind comes as you are rid of the uneasiness caused by limitations and bondage of guilt, while walking clear of the murk of meaninglessness. Your Victory-key is to trust in the all-powerful Prince of Peace (Rom.8:37-39). Through His death and resurrection, He has provided the resources to combat the enemies of peace.

  • To natural limitations, Christ replies: If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes (Mark 9:23).
  • To the bondage of guilt you can respond: “Who can bring a charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies (Romans 8:33).
  • To the murk of meaninglessness, you can proclaim the clarity of Christ – “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life (John 8:12).

Our Vision

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
