Bible Meditation:
Psalm 16: 1-11

I have set the Lord always before me; because He is at my right hand I shall not be moved. Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoices; my flesh also will rest in hope” – Psalm 16: 8-9

There is a place in God that can be described as OPERATING in the GLORY ZONE. That’s the realm God’s Living Church has been called to operate in. The Lord Jesus Christ declared that He had given to the Church the Glory the Father gave to Him: “And the GLORY which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one”  (Jh.17:22). Of course, in doing so, He did not deplete in glory one bit, because God’s Glory is unquantifiable in human terms. We the recipients must however know more about this glory and walk in its reality. Let’s glean from the testimony of King David, who had a considerable understanding of the glory dimension, even in the Old Testament.

In Psalm 16: 8-9, David reveals a practice that became his secret for success during his reign as Israel’s king. He constantly practiced the presence of God. For Him, “the Lord is with you”, was not a mere religious slang, but a reality that influenced everything about him. He knew what it meant to operate in the Glory Zone! In verse 8, David described a spiritual habit he developed based on his understanding of the Lord’s abiding presence. He was saying in essence: “with my imagination, I have engaged the Lord in my heart as my shield and buckler and whatever dominates my heart shapes my experiences and my destiny.” David retrained his imagination to focus on the Lord always. He assessed and concluded all matters with an awareness that the Creator of the universe was with Him. No wonder he declared, “I shall not be moved”.

Practising the presence of God is therefore an integral aspect of walking in the miraculous and operating in the Glory Zone! Furthermore, in verse 9, David introduced another slant to operating in the Glory Zone. He says, “Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoices; my flesh also will rest in hope”. In Acts2:26, Apostle Peter quoting Psalm 16:9, brings a fresh insight by introducing the word ‘tongue’ in place of ‘glory’, implying that the tongue is a significant key to the glory realm. The Prophet Isaiah re-echoes Peter’s insight with these words in Isaiah 40:5, saying, “The glory of the Lord shall be revealed and all flesh shall see it together; for the mouth of the Lord has spoken.” God releases glory by the spoken word!

We can glean from these scriptures, lessons on how to operate in the Glory Zone. First, our minds must be renewed and our imagination retrained with the truth of God’s Word to frame acceptable visions. Second, the tongue must constantly give voice to what the heart has received insight of from the Word. Then, the tongue must become subject to the supervision of the Holy Spirit in prayer, particularly by praying in other tongues. The combination of these spiritual steps will unlock the flow of the glory zone into all dimensions of our destinies: personal devotional life, marriage, ministry, business, and career. They’ll ensure the release of a touch of heaven into our lives and make us become a blessing, indeed, to others.

Beloved, the world is waiting for your manifestation: “For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God” (Rom.8:19). The deeper you press into the glory, the deeper the glory will go into you; the more you will find yourself thinking of the glory, speaking about the glory, and moving in the glory. Natural observers may misunderstand what is happening in your life, especially if they haven't yet received the revelation of it. Those who are aliens to the glory see these things as foolish, for they are only discerned by the Spirit (1Cor.2:14). Never become discouraged by their misunderstanding of what is happening in your life. Stay focused on the glory, and let it grow in you. The radiance of glory upon you will speak for itself.

Our Vision

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
