Bible Meditation:
Luke 5: 1-11

And when they had done this, they caught a great number of fish, and THEIR NET WAS BREAKING” – Luke 5:6

Peter the disciple experienced a NET-BREAKING VISITATION in His walk with the Lord: And when they had done this, they caught a great number of fish, and THEIR NET WAS BREAKING” (Luke 5:6). This should inspire us for a closer, more intimate Walk of Faith with the Lord. A Net-breaking Visitation is a divine encounter where God interrupts our season of futile labour, fatigue, frustration, and limitations to release overflow of blessings. It requires surrendering our emptiness to God, believing His Word, and moving by faith to receive His best.

Simon Peter and his partners had toiled all night, exhausted their skills, experience, and energy, but caught absolutely nothing. At dawn, they were washing their nets, ready to accept defeat and go home empty-handed. Then, Jesus showed up, noticing their empty boats. God often thrives in our ‘emptiness.’ He waits for human resources, strength, and self-reliance to hit "zero" so He can receive all the Glory in filling our lives. He borrowed Peter’s boat to preach, and afterward, gave a seemingly illogical command: "Launch out into the deep..." (v.4). The borrowed boat became a platform for the miraculous. We also can surrender our tools – skills, talents, and resources – for God's use.

Peter could have relied on his professional expertise, but instead, he leaned into grace, placing obedience over logic: "Master, we have toiled all night and caught nothing; nevertheless, at Your word, I will let down the net" (v.5). The best time to fish in Galilee was at night. To cast the nets in the daytime is a fisherman’s nightmare. But one word from God cancelled all the rules of natural disadvantage. The resulting harvest was so massive that the nets began to break, and the boats began to sink. When God steps into our situation, natural efforts are superseded by a divine, supernatural overflow. Rather than allow past failures keep us on the shore, we can move beyond disappointments, be willing to "launch out into the deep" at God’s instruction, embrace the “Nevertheless” mentality, and cultivate a spirit of prompt obedience.

When common sense and doubt say "no," our faith should say, "Nevertheless, at Your Word, I will." A net-breaking visitation is a capacity-stretching, overwhelming abundance that would require partnership. The catch was too heavy for one boat. Peter had to call his partners. God’s overflowing blessings are often designed to expand our network, impact our community, and make us a blessing to others. If we’re asking for a net-breaking visitation, let’s prepare spiritually, mentally, and structurally for the massive blessing about to be entrusted to us.

In Jesus’ Name, I declare that:

I receive the Word of Faith and the Grace to launch into the deep and experience immeasurably more than I can ask or imagine.

Seasons of fruitless labour and toiling have come to a permanent end. My career, life, and ministry receive net-breaking harvests of favour.

At the Word of the Lord, doors of supernatural opportunities are flung wide, turning every emptiness into undeniable testimonies of overflow.

Every limitation and delay working against my harvest is broken. My life, resources, and testimony shall be blessings to many generations.

Prayer:
Lord, help us to follow Your leading even when it defies logic, and grant us Net-breaking Visitation that’ll positively impact generations, in Jesus’ name.

Our Vision

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
