THE LIGHT OF WISDOM

But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day – Proverbs 4:18 (KJV)

Wisdom is Light. Foolishness is darkness. Jesus, the Light of the world, is also the Source of all Wisdom and Knowledge (Jh.8:12; Col.2:3). Christ is “the power of God, and the Wisdom of God” (1Cor.1:24,30). Wisdom is a Lifter of destinies. Wisdom give light, and the Light of Wisdom enlightens, lightens, lifts, and liberates. God’s Wisdom is divine Insight required to attain life’s great heights.

Wisdom is a High-place concept: “She stands in the top of high places, by the way in the places of the paths…She has sent forth her maidens: she cries upon the highest places of the city” (Pro.8:2; 9:3 KJV). Wisdom will promote you to the high places of life and sustain you as you thrive at the top. Wisdom will guarantee you a Place of Purpose at the Top. Wisdom is therefore your God-given catalyst, promoter, financier, and sustainer of life. Wisdom will ensure that you rule, rather than roam the city: “By me princes rule, and nobles, all the judges of the earth” (Pro.8:16).

Wisdom leads the just on the path of progress. Wisdom makes you effective and highly productive in all spheres of life. “If the iron be blunt, and he do not whet the edge, then must he put to more strength: but wisdom is profitable to direct” (Eccl.10:10). Wisdom is the secret of direction; direction is the profit of wisdom; wisdom will give you direction to profit! Beloved, the wisdom of God fashioned you in the womb; the same wisdom will fashion your future in the world.

Wisdom teaches you how to progress. Wisdom leads you on the Path of Progress. Never make a life-defining move without Wisdom. Don’t start anything worthwhile without Wisdom. Proverbs 8:22 says, “The LORD possessed me at the beginning of His way, before His works of old.” In turn, let the Wisdom of God possess you in the beginning of the way. God’s Wisdom will empower you to fulfil your life’s Vision to the fullest. His Wisdom will give the right conclusion to the story of your life!
