LIGHT OF PURPOSE AND VISION (3)

“And we know that ALL THINGS work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to HIS PURPOSE” – Romans 8:28

All that is of essence and value in Life, is linked to the LIGHT of PURPOSE AND VISION: “And we know that ALL THINGS work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to HIS PURPOSE” (v.28). Purpose governs the outcome of everything worthy in life! In Christ, ALL THINGS are guaranteed to “work together for good… according GOD’S PURPOSE”! In order for the Lord to perfect all that concerns us, we must be solidly established in the understanding and manifestations of the Light of Purpose and Vision. Purpose is the “Reason for Being” – why someone or something exits. We were each born by God’s Purpose and for His Purpose. But we have a responsibility to align with Him for the fulfilment and perfection of purpose. Vision is the revelation or unveiling of Purpose.

PURPOSE and VISION are intricately connected to DESTINY. Vision is the God-given revelation of His purpose to be accomplished by a person or a group of people. My life’s Vision is the revelation of the reason for my being. What about Destiny? My Destiny refers to the full package or Ultimate fulfilment of God's Purpose for my life – my divinely appointed and ordained future. Destiny is what God, in His divine Will and Counsel, has predetermined me to be, become or attain. Destiny is the visible and tangible manifestation of my life’s Purpose, in space and time, and for an eternal impact. Nothing match a life that is established on and directed by Purpose, running with accurate, clear, heavenly Vision, and manifesting a meaningful mission. Purpose and Vision are basic and fundamental ingredients of true fulfilment in life.

The contrast to a life that’s led by the Light of Purpose and Vision would be a botched, failed and wasted life on earth. It is therefore extremely important to discover and pursue Purpose and to discern, clarify and run with a dynamic Vision, for the fulfilment of Destiny. It’s important to encounter and embrace the Light of Purpose and Vision. Whoever refuses or fails to discover and pursue Purpose will easily fall prey to an illusory life that’s lacking in essence; a life that does not matter and which may likely end up with no tangible impact in time and eternity.

Believers in Christ are divinely connected to God’s Eternal Purpose, whose goal is Glory: “For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also GLORIFIED” (vv.29-30). Beloved, as we love the Lord, encounter and embrace the Light of Purpose and Vision, all things will work together for our fulfilled lives and glorious destinies.
