LEARNING IS NOT CHANGING

“…Learning is not changing. Acquiring knowledge doesn’t automatically renew your mind. More knowledge of the psychological and sociological circumstances of your past or present won’t necessarily change your life.

Well-educated people are among those whose lives are total failures. Living in a land of opportunity, many people still suffer and struggle. Some even end their lives in suicide. Many people with a good education suffer from drug and alcohol abuse. So learning can be an asset – and I’m all for it – but education isn’t the key to real change in your life. What we have been talking about is mind renewal, as the Bible calls it.

The will of God is for you to live a prosperous, successful life. Spiritually, mentally, physically, financially and socially, God desires the fullness of His abundant life and prosperity for you. It is never His will for people to suffer or struggle through life. Suffering and struggling come when we are living contrary to His will for us.

You may think I’s hard to live according to the will of God, but the Bible says it is hard to live the way of the transgressor (Prov. 13:15 KJV). Living in the will of God is the highest kind of life any man or woman will ever experience.

How do we get there? By the transformation of our minds! And the Holy Spirit will help us do it, as we give ourselves totally to Him.”
