JOY AND DIVINE DIRECTION

You shall have a SONG as in the night when a holy festival is kept, and GLADNESS of HEART as when one goes with a flute, to come into the mountain of the LORD, to the Mighty One of Israel. The LORD will cause His glorious VOICE to be heard, and show the descent of His arm… – Isaiah 30:29-30a (NKJV)

JOY is fundamental to triumph in life and destiny. You need JOY to receive Divine DIRECTION. Joy is a prerequisite to hearing God’s Voice of direction. Joy is your spiritual MAGNET and COMPASS for DIVINE DIRECTION. The atmosphere of Joy attracts the glorious VOICE of the Almighty and guarantees the descent of the Arm of the Almighty.

It takes a joyful song in your heart to hear the sound from heaven. Until your song rises, the voice of direction may not come down and the arm of power may not descend. When you come to the LORD with a song and with gladness of heart, He will cause His glorious voice to be heard. Blessed are the people who know the JOYFUL SOUND! They walk, O LORD, in the light of Your countenance (Psa.89:15). Even if your SONG is in the quietness of the NIGHT, as long as it is accompanied by gladness of heart, divine direction will come: “Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, “This is the way, walk in it…” (Isa.30:21a). When there is no gladness of heart, one may become deaf to the voice of God.

Joy is your magnet and compass for divine direction. It is a key component of God’s Kingdom within you: “righteousness, peace, and JOY in the Holy Spirit” (Rom.14:17b). Guard your joy jealously. Let nothing take your joy from you. Hold fast unto it. Do not allow Satan, the thief, to steal, kill or destroy your Joy (Jh.10:10a). Joy is your winning ticket in the race of life. When you learn to serve “the LORD your God with JOY and GLADNESS of heart,” you will be free from the yoke of servitude to the adversaries of your destiny (Deut.28:47-48).

Nothing is more valuable than divine direction. So, rise up and silence whatever is causing sadness or sorrow around you; they are out to tamper with your destiny. By the power of God’s Spirit, free yourself from every memory of sorrow. Command all seeds of sadness to be destroyed from the garden of your life. Decree every thread and trend of tragedy to be terminated from your life in Jesus name. It’s time to sound out joyful songs of salvation from a heart filled with gladness.
