Bible Meditation:
Psalm 121:1-7

The LORD shall preserve you from all evil; He shall preserve your soul – Psalm 121:7

“NO EVIL shall befall you...” (Psa.91:10a). This assurance is a consequence of choosing to make God your own refuge. Then, you’ll receive the blessings and benefits of His promises. Notice, the Scripture doesn’t say, “You can never encounter evil”, but that evil shall not befall you. Every person is a free moral agent who can choose to veer or walk into evil or engage in thoughts, behaviour or actions that may attract or result in evil. Whoever wanders off the path of righteousness is likely to encounter evil at every turn, and the outcomes may fall outside of God's will. This perhaps explains why the Lord taught us to pray: “And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one…” (Mt.6:13).

Jabez called on the God of Israel, “…that You would keep me from evil…” and God granted his request (1Chr.4:10).When you live in God's will, He guarantees that whatever happens to you does not end up in evil: “And we know that all things work together for GOOD to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose” (Rom.8:28). God will not deliberately invoke evil on His children, and if He ever does allow such, His sovereignty will ensure that even this will work together for good in bringing to pass His eternal purpose and the greater goodness of His Kingdom. Rather than allow you to be a victim of evil, God will empower you to be a Victor over the devil, demons, and all forms of evil.

“No evil shall befall you…”! Satan cannot afflict people at will, irrespective of who they are and where they dwell. Those who abide and dwell in God’s secret place are divinely defended. When you declare for Christ, Satan loses his hold on you. Though once in a while, he may rage a storm to tell you that he still exists, and he may prowl like a roaring lion looking for whom to devour, but when your hope is built on Christ and His everlasting arm of righteousness, you’re immune from evil! So, let the secret place remain your dwelling place. You are to not only run into the secret place; you must inhabit and dwell therein for perfect protection, lest the intruder afflict with plagues; but such shall not be your portion in Jesus Name.

Whoever dwells in God shall be secure, for He rewards faith wherever He sees it (Heb.11:6). He who MAKES God his refuge shall find Him a refuge; he who dwells in God shall find His dwelling protected. MAKE the Lord your habitation; choose Him for your trust and rest. Then, you shall receive immunity from harm: no evil shall touch you personally, and no stroke of judgment shall assail your household. It matters little whether you live in a hut or a palace, once your soul has made the Most High its habitation. Get into God and you dwell in all good, and ill is exiled far away. You can hope for shelter in the day of evil, because your refuge is the Eternal God, and your faith has learned to hide beneath His sheltering wing!

Our Vision

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
