HEALTH AND WELLNESS IN GOD’S WORD

“Behold, I will bring it HEALTH and HEALING; I will HEAL them and reveal to them the abundance of peace and truth” – Jeremiah 33:6

Beloved, in this new month, we shall experience and enjoy abundance of HEALTH and WELLNESS in GOD’S WORD: “Behold, I will bring it HEALTH and HEALING; I will HEAL them and reveal to them the abundance of PEACE and truth” (Jer.33:6). Jeremiah 33 is themed around Excellence of the Restored Nation. God changed the focus of His message to the Jews from warnings of destruction to promises of forgiveness, goodness, restoration, healing, health, and wellness. Prior to listing the bountiful blessings, the Lord stirred Prophet Jeremiah and by extension, His people, to Prayer: “Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know” (v.3). Ironically, the prophet was “shut up in the court of the prison” (vv.1-2).

Jeremiah’s prison condition could not dampen his spirit from declaring Health and Wellness on God’s people. The Message Bible puts it beautifully: "But now take another look. I'm going to give this city a thorough renovation, working a TRUE HEALING inside and out. I'm going to show them life whole, life brimming with blessings. I'll restore everything that was lost to Judah and Jerusalem. I'll build everything back as good as new. I'll scrub them clean from the dirt they've done against me. I'll forgive everything they've done wrong, forgive all their rebellions. And Jerusalem will be a center of JOY and PRAISE and GLORY for all the countries on earth. They'll get reports on all the good I'm doing for her. They'll be in awe of the BLESSINGS I am POURING on her” (vv.6-9).

Jerusalem was filled with destruction and death, and to this city God promised to bring health and healing, if they’ll call unto Him. Jeremiah learned that divine revelation becomes a reality when it is sought. By calling out to God, he found God’s Grace and Goodness. Those who expect to receive Help from God, must hold on to His Word, trust and call upon Him. Promises are given, to enhance and encourage meditation, prayers, and faith affirmations. Beloved, if we believe, our God, the Unchanging Changer will fulfil promises of Health and Wellness in our lives, similar to those He made to Israel. Let’s declare in faith – In Jesus’ name:

The Lord will give the cities of our lives radical, positive and THOROUGH RENOVATION.

The Lord will work and perform TRUE HEALING in all aspects of our lives – inside and out.

The Lord will HEAL all of our spiritual and other wounds and release abundant Prosperity and True Peace.

The Lord will show us WHOLENESS of LIFE – LIFE BRIMMING with BLESSINGS on every side.

The Lord will RESTORE EVERYTHING we have lost – spiritual, ministerial, material, family and financial.

The Lord will BUILD EVERTHING BACK as GOOD as NEW however broken our lives, health or wellness has been.

The Lord will scrub us clean from every past dirt, filth and sin, as He forgives us all that we’ve done wrong in rebellion.

The Lord will transform our lives into Cynosures of JOY, PRAISE and GLORY, with positive Impact on everyone around us.

The watching world will get reports of ALL the GOOD that God will be doing for us and the BLESSINGS He is POURING on us.

There shall be no desolation in our domains; but the Voices of Joy, Gladness, Melody and Praises shall fill our tabernacles!

In this month, we shall meditate in-depth and access scriptural revelations on Health and Wellness in God’s Word, and be ushered into their reality: Covenant promises, guidance, instructions, and words of wisdom, caution, and warnings on Health and Wellness.
