Bible Meditation:
Romans 4:1-11

Unto Timothy, my own son in the faith: GRACE, MERCY, and PEACE, from God our Father and Jesus Christ our Lord – 1Timothy 1:2

Grace, Mercy, and Peace are Redemption’s Triplets. The Gospel is encapsulated in these three words. They sum up our complete salvation and perfect redemption in Jesus Christ. Grace is the foundation of our redemption, mercy the manifestation, and peace the consummation. Paul consistently released the riches of redemption hidden and loaded in these three Sisters of Salvation through his greetings to the saints (1Tim.1:2; Tit.1:4)

Grace reaches back to and covers the past – our salvation goes back “before the foundation of the world” (Eph.1:4). Mercy embraces the present – it is manifested to us day by day: “the Lord’s mercies…are new every morning” (Lam.3:22-23). Peace is the consummation, the perfection that guarantees that our future is secure.

Grace justifies. Mercy pardons. Grace is receiving what we do not deserve. Mercy is not receiving what we do deserve. We do not deserve to go to heaven, but by His grace we’ll spend eternity with God in heaven. We deserve to go to hell, but by His Mercy we shall never go there. Grace admits us to heaven, Mercy save us from hell. The death of Christ was enough to pardon us in mercy, but it took the resurrection to manifest our justification by grace. He “was delivered up because of our offenses, and was raised because of our justification” (Rom.4:25).

Now, by faith, we have “PEACE WITH GOD through our Lord Jesus Christ” (Rom.5:1).

Our Vision

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
