GOD WILL LIFT YOU UP

When men are cast down, then You shall say, there is LIFTING UP… – Job 22:29

The word ‘UP’ is central to our scripture meditation for today. First, you must LINK UP with God in prayerful repentance and reconciliation: “Submit to God and be at peace with Him; in this way prosperity will come to you” (vs. 21 NIV). Perfect Prosperity is hinged on linking-up with God, the Unlimited Source of lasting blessings. The next verse tells HOW: “Receive, please, instruction from His mouth, and LAY UP His words in your heart” (vs. 22). When you LINK UP with God’s Spirit and LAY UP His Word in your heart, four clear outcomes are assured:

1. You will be BUILT UP: “If you return to the Almighty, you will be BUILT UP, you will remove iniquity far from your tents” (vs. 23). You will be revived, restored, and rebuilt.
2. You will LAY UP precious treasures: “Then you will LAY UP gold in the dust, and the gold of Ophir among the stones of the brooks” (vs. 24-25). You will enjoy abundant treasures, blessings, possessions, and prosperity.
3. You will LIFT UP your face to God: “For then you will have your delight in the Almighty, and LIFT UP your face to God” (vs.26). You will enjoy divine attention and the Father’s intimate fellowship in worship, thanksgiving, and prayers.
4. You will experience the joy of LIFTING UP and encourage others to do likewise: “When men are cast down, then You shall say, there is LIFTING UP…”

When you LINK UP with God and LAY UP His Word in your heart, you’ll be BUILT UP and be empowered to LAY UP treasures in abundance. You will be able to LIFT UP your face to God and to encourage those who would want to GIVE UP that “there is LIFTING UP”!

This is your Season of Lifting Up. This is your UP Moment. Rather than give up to discouragement and depression, it is time to RISE UP in faith and SPEAK UP in boldness! Those who look up, rise up. Those who look down, go down. Whatever and whoever would not let you go up will go down for you. No matter the odds or hurdles on the way, you will come out on TOP according to God’s eternal Will! Refuse to give up until you breast the tape. Refuse to stop until you reach His Top for you!
